I really like Lucy, no idea what size fanbase she has, don't care what anyone else thinks of her, I've seen enough of her in there to form the opinion that she's funny, interesting, straight-talking, good company and a great campmate, and regardless of when she gets evicted, that will still be my opinion.

By the comments from the others on ITV2 especially from Annabelwho was amazed at what she had seen and heard since she was out She basically said what we have been seeing is not the truth.
I agree with the original Poster. I think Lucy has a bigger fan base than people think. It is funny to see the bookies predicting she would leave, yet is still there

Even if she does, she has lasted longer than most people and the bookies expected her too. I suspect she has a lot of support from some soap fans, not just Emmerdale fans, but some other soap fans too. It is great to see Lucy doing so well, when people expect her to be the one leaving every night

That is exactly the reason why I like her. Says it as it is, and isn't doing stuff just to please other people such as the dancing.
I think she will be out tomorrow but fair play to her I think she has done nothing wrong. The camp even voted her as the hardest working so she is definitely getting stuck in to camp life

If Amy had done anything bad enough to warrant what we know she did get, trust me: they'd have shown it - it would've been just as newsworthy

How come Vincent has been speaking fondly of Lucy too? Annabelle and Lucy are not bullies in my opinion. Amy played the victim game in the other reality show, since what I have read on here and knows how to play the game right. Amy is no innocent victim. I like Amy, but she is playing a good game.

I don't actually understand why people hate her. What you said is spot on, favorite thing is that she is so straight forward with people. I'm not a cynical person at all, but I can't believe how many people have fallen for this Amy controversy.

That really is very rude.
It is never acceptable to abuse other people because they support someone you do not.Lucy is not one of the four I would like to see win, but I can see why perfectly PLEASANT, thoughtful, reasonable people would like her: she is a hard worker, unfussy, straightforward, and if you can tolerate her alarmingly blunt manner, not hard to get along with. No one seems to dislike her in the camp, which is surely something we should recognise.

Okay fair enough, I guess we've all fallen victim too this sort of thing once in our lives but c'mon, she's more see through than glass! I don't even not like Amy, I have no opinion on her... I'm just utterly confused by the public perception of it all.
I would never underestimate Lucy, but it has rather less to do with her fanbase, more how she comes across.

She's on Emmerdale which seems to have a similar voting dynamic to ITV's reality shows. Emmerdale people tend to do well. Just look at Dancing On Ice..........She's also been on Corrie. Thats about as big an ITV fanbase as you can get
