Yeh I love emotional scenes - I think they show how good an actor is and I love it when actors properly cry - like Sam did last night. It will be nice to see Danny have a really emotional scene one day. We know he can do scenes like that really well by looking at his past work.

Tonight gave the impression that Johnny was born premature? She said something about almost dying.

Yeh or there were complications - I think Linda said he stopped breathing so maybe after the birth he stopped breathing and they thought he was going to die?

I really liked that scene - we can learn so much in just a few sentences.

Yes i really did like that scene. These are my fav - more like this please EE! Tonight was just filler scenes for the Carters. Do we wonder if Linda in the future will ever have to thank Shirley for something? Their hate surely isn't that strong on Shirley's part but Linda really dislikes her and it's going to take a miracle!

What do we think about tonight's episode? I loved it! I'm so intrigued about why Mick didn't want to see his dad and also, Shirley mentioned that Mick had to go through some things - I think possibly when he was in care? What do we think happened there?

Yeah great scenes with the dad. I must not of been listening properly, Tina was in care with Mick too I assume, and that's how Shirley became like a mother to him instead of a sister? I think something bad happened to him while in there. Do we know if the fire is going to be brought up again and how it happened? Bad memory right now, cannot remember if its been explained what happened on the day/night.

The crying scenes got to me because the only other person Shirley has really cried for was Heather. I love that her family bring out this other side to her. Mick too.
