The thing with it being Lee as it does make sense for him to be in the flat but why would he do that to his dad? It was so quick as well I mean it's not like Lee doesn't like Mick (Not that we know of....) it's all very confusing, but it will make sense surely. Dean is dark so it could be him but also that's confusing because why would he just do that to Mick. Also Lee is obviously hiding a secret I mean it's the rule isn't it? and we are supposed to believe that was Dean in that shadow. I'm soooo confused. Also where the hell is everybody supposed to be living the vic is turning into the tardis
![]() Also haven't mentioned this yet but great casting on Lee very believable as Mick's son, just grow a beard and he's Danny-Boy Dyer ![]() ![]() I'm confused too - I hope our questions are answered! |

Was it supposed to be Mick and Lee who dressed Lady Di up as Linda?
![]() Dean/Johnny/Mick/Lee Spoiled for choice or what. And that's not a bad idea might just have to take you up on the offer

I don't usually post much on the Soap board, but I'm a massive fan of Mick/Danny and just came across this:

Danny Dyer was very impressive in yesterday's episode...Don't get me wrong, I have always thought of him as a good actor and have enjoyed many of his movies, but he has really been going from strength to strength since he joined EastEnders.
I really hope DD stays in EastEnders for a good while yet, as he suits the show down to the ground. |

Rule of EE though. Everything has to be quiet when theres a reveal (although a very clever reveal in this case)

I really like Mick now. I didn't take much notice of him in the beginning but I love his non judgemental nature and the way he is trying to be a friend to Alfie (though what Alfie did was obviously wrong). He didn't judge Stacey for pretending to be Jenny either (though it's interesting that Max thought Stacey found Mick attractive). Though Mick did unwisely jeopardise his family to protect that Weasel Ian, I don't really blame him for it - it would be great to have a friend like Mick. Of course, being non judgemental can only go so far and

I can see us seeing Mick pushed to his absolute limit in the next 6 months. Can't wait to see Danny tackle such scenes

I really like Mick so I can't help feeling disappointed that he has this "violent" side. One of the things I like about Mick is his easy going, non judgemental nature - of course there are always boundaries and I can't blame Mick for going ballistic when he learns what Dean did to Linda. Dean is a family member whom Mick helped and trusted, not to mention that Linda is the love of Mick's life, so his anger and real sense of betrayal are understandable - this is why it's so frustrating that in the Dean/Linda case there is no arrest, trial or imprisonment. I know they are trying to make it realistic but I'm not particularly thrilled by the idea of Mick beating Dean up at Christmas instead of Linda getting justice the right way.

I felt a bit sorry for poor Mick at the end of tonight's episode.
While we, the viewers know the truth, he must have felt really hurt that his "mum" didn't remember him. Do you think he'll assume it's because of her illness or believe her and get confused about who he is and his place in the family? It's interesting that Stan still considers himself Mick's dad. I can't tell whether or not Stan knows, though Babe, Shirley and Buster definitely know the truth.

Danny was brilliant in tonight's episode. So sad that Mick thinks his mum doesn't even remember him.
