Can't login to new Youview forums
Anyone else having issues logging in to the new Youview forums?
Each time I click the "Sign in" button I just get directed to this page... https://community.youview.com/youview# All that displays is the Find or Start a conversation box, Top Categories and recent conversations. Nothing to actually enter my username / password. I'm using IE11 on Windows 7. |

Works OK for me.
Make sure that any pop=up blockers you're using aren't preventing the login screen appearing http://postimg.org/image/8z07uwhfh/ |

Hmmm, odd. Still can't log in and Phil doesn't appear to be doing anything with the emails I'm sending him either.
Specifically added the site to the pop-up blocker exceptions area in IE11 too. Surely you don't need third party cookies allowed if you're signing in with a getsatisfaction account? That's the only thing left for me to allow. Guess what I'm not going to either. Last edited by HydeTDS : 15-12-2013 at 14:06. Reason: added cookie paragraph. |

Yup, it's the third party cookie issue. If you add the site to IE's Trusted Site's section you can login. Pretty poor show that you're forced to accept third party cookies though

Can't log in again! Everything allowed this time. Still not getting any response from community@youview.com either.

I have given up on there until and unless they get shot of that execrable forum software they use.

I'd never heard of it so thanks for that. The weird thing is that although I got to the forum from your link, I then clicked on Home, but then couldn't find a link anywhere anywhere on the page to get back again. There is nothing to suggest that a forum even exists.

You can use your Google+ identity to log into the YouView forum site to post messages. That uses your google email address and password. Other features on Google+ include links to their calendar program - this can be useful if you have an Android phone as you can access it using the inbuilt calendar program.
