Need a streaming box?

Note the LT is 720p only, but a great level entry unit.

Roku LT price reduced to £29.00 online (and apparently £28.90 in store).

If you're looking for Netflix as well as everything the Now TV box offers, the Roku LT looks excellent value.

The Now TV box doesn't have anywhere near the amount of channels the Roku has. The rocku has a better UI and the Now TV box uses a variation of the old Roku UI. Now TV no good for Movies as it does not have Netflix, popcorn, crackle and all the retro and classic channels. The Now TV is good for the price but I would rather pay the extra for the Roku.

Personally I prefer the Now TV box old style UI.

Still worth paying the bit extra for the Roku LT though, especially at 30 quid!

Bargain. I got one for 34 quid a while back and thought I was doing well.

NowTV box streams films beautifully in full 720 HD without buffering as do the catch up TV services.
Roku has loads of American religious stations and Netflix.
So you are paying £20 more just to get netflix over NowTV box which does not.
You pay your money and make you choice.
I find the Now box a good purchase in making a none smart TV into one.
Regarding ITV player which is not on either device then it's ITV's choice to loose out on this potential extra revenue source for them and their advertisers.

Additional notes: obviously the Roku LT offers access to the USTVNow channel which the NOW TV box has just blocked. Further to that, SlingPlayer functionality is also available on the Roku LT in conjunction with an iOS or Android device.
