Why do they feed them from endangered animals

Surely the cuts they send into camp must be way more expensive to obtain then meat from a cow or fish.

I'm sure all the campmates would prefer a nice steak or piece of salmon .

None of the meat is from endangered animals.

But I get your point. I guess its for the experience. And if the cuts are more expensive its not going to make much difference to the enormous budget they have.

They are supposed to be experiencing life in the jungle, hence the food? That is the whole idea and always has been. What endangered animals are they eating?

They wouldn't be stupid enough to feed them an endangered animals after the grief they got over Gino killing the rat and cooking it...I myself didn't see a problem with that because that's exactly what you would do if you had to survive

Can you post a link please? There are species of certain animals on the endangered list. I saw a species of Possum . I don't know about "close to being near endangered?" . Eating "endangered" animals is illegal.

Was that addressed to me?

Endangered Eels

http://www.planetpatrol.info/eels.html

Very interesting article here by the late Steve Irwin:

"Now for the worst possible news - BUSHMEAT! As a result of established wildlife and conservation organisations backing the sustainable use of wildlife and actually supporting the 'killing' of native wildlife, they have created a market. Third world nations now see examples of modern nations supporting killing, eating and wearing wildlife for money, so now they're doing it."

LOL loved that planet patrol scoop. These endangered eels seem to be eating so many ducks at that kids school that the ducks might become endangered.

The crocodile and possum will be the farmed variety for sure. Debateable ethics nonetheless.

I have no idea whether they are endangered or not. One thing I am sure of, I couldn't eat any of it. Be it eels, possum or croc feet. The mere thought makes me feel unwell.

You need to change the title of the thread to "why do they feed them close to being endangered animals" then.

What does etc in this context mean btw? It reads as being that the animals are close to being endangered etc, although I suspect you mean the crocodiles, possum, eels etc are close to being endangered.
