Best and worst trials so far?

I thought the plank one last night was good, and Alfonso was surprisingly resilient: I'm not sure that I could walk blindfold along a narrow plank that high up. Rebecca's was good in the tank of water as well, though I got slightly out of breath watching her.

Amy's one with the combination locks was rubbish apart from the fall at the end, which was scary. And the all-campmates one which made Annabel cry so much was rubbish as well. Also too many 'tunnels with insects' in the early days.

Steve's was the best for me, although last night's was good. Worse, hmm, The car one...all that offal.

Steve's gave us the best moment, definitely, but it looked impossible to me. Yes, the car one was just yuk with not much fun.

I much prefer trials like last nights one to anything which seems to be 'lets cover them in bugs for the sheer sake of it'. I prefer to see people challenged with heights, water etc rather than just making it as disgusting as possible

Steve's was brilliant! Though 10 mins was probably far too short; one fall - two at most - and you've no chance.

I liked the one last night; quite imaginative and fun to watch. They did very well.

The live trial was a whopping let down this year. I can't put my finger on why; Joey's just quite dull, God love him, but it should still have been more fun than it was.

Some of them were way too easy. Laila's, for example. A pure doddle.

edited to add: Rebecca's was good too; there was a bit of tension at least as to whether she'd do it or not.

Yes true, and shown TWICE! I nearly put a brick through the tv screen when I realized we had to watch it all over again.

Yes, they seem to do this every year, have a pointlessly easy one.

I do wonder if anyone completed Steve's trial in 10 mins.

The Kian/Alfonso blindfold plank one was the best so far in that it involved real skill, nerve and teamwork. Of the bug-related ones, I liked David's tv one (or maybe I just liked it because David was doing it. )

The Lame Task of the Show prize goes to Mo's one. Even the croc looked bored.

I really don't like the eating ones. I would rather they had to demonstrate some kind of skill, even if it's thinking/reasoning and not just physical strength which not everyone is capable of.

I liked the two mentioned by the OP a lot.I also liked the underground trial with Kiran? I can never remember his name. Can't think of any others. The rest have been too repetitive or watered down. A disappointing year all round for me.

Oh God! Of course - he was great in that. Very difficult task after Joey's easier ones.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thought that about Joeys trials ! I hope it wasn't deliberate as it belittled him.Not that we will ever know.

I'm convinced that the two trials where the contestants only got 3 stars were deliberately set up to be almost impossible to complete in the given time limit - this being done as they've been winning more meals than in previous series and the producers wanted to see their reaction to skimpier rations.... or am I being very cynical?

Not cynical, realistic I would say. They made too many too easy.

Steve's trial was great. I loved that he fell in before the trial had even started. That had me smiling.

Alfonso and Kian's trial last night was excellent. I can't work out if I'd rather have been blindfolded so I couldn't see how far up I was, or if I'd have preferred to do Kian's part of the trial. Either way, they did great.

Amy's trial was good as was Rebecca's. Aside from that, imo the rest were just a series of bugs and tunnels.

I've preferred watching the Dingo Dollars this year. Lucy and David's was great and Rebecca and Joey's must have been a nightmare with all that counting. Good job Joey was there, he likes counting apparently LOL!

Alfonso and Kian's trial last night was definitely the best - my heart was in my mouth!

I had an immediate strategy for that one - like Joey, I like counting. You count to 100, scratch the letter, count to another hundred, scratch the letter etc.

I agree that a lot of the trials have been distinctly lacking in imagination this year round, but I also think that, apart from Annabel, they don't really have any celebs who freaked out.

Matthew was a bit fraught at the beginning of the series but then seemed to calm down and not have a problem. I'm surprised that Annabel didn't get voted more considering that she was the only one who would react in a way that has proven to entertain the public in the past. I'd like to see David do another trial, and maybe Alfonso do one alone too.

The highlight of Dingo Dollars for me is the unrelenting grimness of Kiosk Keith

As a contestant - the first eating trial with Joey and Matthew was the worst. I can't stand the eating trials and seriously don't know how year after year they actually get people to do it. I'd just say 'Sod it - we'll make do with the rice and beans for the night'.

The worst in terms of 'is that it?' Mo's trial - what the hell was so difficult about that?

The most boring has to be Joey's Live Trial (even he looked bored with it).

The funniest trial - Steve and that rock thing.

The yuckiest trial (sans eating) has to be Lucy's one with the limo.

Alfonso and Kians trial was the best.
It looked really hard and scary and they done really well.

Steve's was a good trial too.

I like the bug in mouth one too and the eating gross things trial.

I don't like the trials where they just search for stars.

I've enjoyed the dingo dollars challenges a lot more than the trials on the whole this year. They aren't monotonous, take some doing in a lot of cases , give us the chance to see other campmates and aren't a guaranteed success in some form.. It's win or lose.

I'll hold my hands up, I would keep forgetting and have to start again

However your idea is an idea with merit.

Bonus is, we get to see Kiosk Keith. Call me horrible, but I love it when he slams the shutter down LOL!

Yes me too, lets be horrible together. I suspect we aren't alone
Isn't it so little reward when they do get it right, compared to the chest they had to lug back to camp. I remember many goodies being in that.
