Cancelling EE and back to orange

Does anybody know if I can cancel my 5 day old change from orange to ee?

When I upgraded the call centre person said I could but I am not sure what happens to my old orange account.

Swapped from a 4s to a 5s.

Reason for cancelling - faulty handset which they won't swap, repeated dropped calls or not able to make, receive calls and texts. Apparently where I live is in between masts and therefore 4g can't determine which one to use so just locks up.

Incorrect billing and wrong personal details which they promised to change but won't.

Total nightmare.

Upgrades aren't covered under the distance selling act, so it is at the discretion of the operator. They said they would so what's the problem? best to call them up and ask them rather than the forum.

You can switch 4G off in the 5s settings to see if 3G is any different (will then be the same transmitters you used with your Orange account). You could phone Apple who have a free 30 day helpline for all new purchases to see if the handset is faulty - or if you are close to an Apple store just go in and talk to someone at the Genius bar.

The 5s should be noticeably better at holding onto calls than the 4s, even in 3G only areas. (4G doesn't currently do calls, only data).

If they're playing hardball on the handset, just go to Apple. They're excellent.

i think you need to try and ascertain whats at fault here, the phone or the network.

The easiest is probably the phone (as mentioned above) get it swapped by Apple.

If that doesnt solve it, then speak to EE.

Or, maybe quicker.... have any pals got an iPhone 5s that you could compare?

One problem there, if they do agree to cancel the upgrade they would want the orgininal handset back as identified by the IMEI number.
