No not bad bendy. I have spent 10 weeks repeating ad nauseum that I dislike the fact the production team saw fit to put a trained dancer in among the celeb line-up so I feel it is only fair I don't wallpaper over Kevin's attempted manipulation of the audience at home.

I can hear tomorrow night's show already; Kevin gearing himself up to take the blame for a badly danced AT to try and keep them out of the DO. If you have to plan an escape route, you've already lost.

I think it was absolutely disgusting. How dare they? Poor Natalie and her fans, they just can't catch a break.

But it is true for many of us trevvy, we want to see progression on a show about people learning to dance.

Nat's a nice girl, but she gave us all she had in week one! Nothing offensive about stating that.

I've just watched the clip provided and although I'm no AT expert, this doesn't look like authentic AT to me. I'm sure I will be corrected !
This was a dem, and looks like basically a ballroom tango ( I'm recognising groups and flicks that we do in Ballroom Tango )but with a sort of AT twist with lifts etc to entertain the audience.

He/she is obviously connected in some way to a dance school & posted that video, which is a demonstration dance with some tango elements in it, but it's hardly Vincent & Flavia is it. So now based purely on this few seconds of film you want to call Kevin a liar. ‼️

Bendymixer don't feel bad you were sticking up for Kevin when he was getting some stick on another thread & now people are using it against you.

Kevin has obviously never danced the AT in competition & I don't regard that short clip of being any kind of proof that he is an expert an covering it up which is what the OP is implying.

He has probably never danced a competitive AT before & therefore I am very comfortable with him saying it's new to him. As someone said Brendan said the Charleston was new to him (which it was on Strictly) but that doesn't mean he has never danced any 'charleston' style steps before it's just a whole routine that's new.

I made this thread to vent that disappointment, this is NOT about having a go at another forum member. Sure, there is a certain irony in the fact that had bendymixer not misread my post initially she may never have linked the video - it's a certainty that I would have never googled "KFMFG AT" in an effort to prove the veracity of Kevin's statement; why would I? - but the resulting thread is not a dig at her, it is completely a dig at Kevin. That's all.

And honestly, all this disingenuity. It was supposedly so new to him Susanna was the better at AT. Yeah you roll with that if you want. I know a lie when I hear one.

Smokeychan I really wish I had not put link up it was not a performance AT it was a dem AT when I said earlier in week he had danced AT I never meant at Flavia and Vincent level - I am also sure that Kevin is talking from the viewpoint of comp or stage performance which that dem cant really be classed as in comp or on a stage can it

i'm struggling to work out what exactly it is i've missed, and how outraged i should be about it.

i find it hard to muster any strong feelings about kevin, TBH, but if you throw in a few mentions of susannah i expect a few boilers will explode.

(its much easier to muster strong feelings about the blooming smileys, like WTH is this supposed to be > and how could they tease us with a laod of new ones only to delete them again a day later...)

So did you find any other video of him dancing a proper AT or not ?
