82 different categories?!! That's completely bonkers!
I'm so glad Lana Del Rey and Sara Bareilles have nominations, they're great artists. Bruno Mars is good too but I really hope Lana and Sara win their album categories. I can't believe that Robin Thicke song is nominated though! |

The tide is definitely turning for Lana in the US as she has 3 nominations (Paradise, Summertime Sadness, although it's the remix so maybe Cedric's?, and Young & Beautiful). I've no idea what took her homeland so long to recognise this amazing talent in their midst but better late than never I suppose.
![]() Would be great if she could pick up a trophy but I still think it will be an Oscar first (for Young & Beautiful). |

Janelle Monae has to be the biggest snub of the year imo.

Very happy for Lorde and Lana del rey
Taylor swift's Red for album of the year. what a load of crap. I am still reeling from WANEGBT from getting a nom for song of the year last year. |

WOW they've totally snubbed Justin, I thought he would be a dead cert nomination in the main categories! Sara Barielles is a random one!
AOTY is a mess, Kendrick's album wasn't that good, isn't it a bit early for him to be nominated in this category! Also gutted Ariana Grande isn't up for Best New Artist |

Just read the full list, so happy for Tamar Braxton. She should win r&b performance and song for Love and War!
Rap/sung is a great category as always, Holy Grail will probably win,but I would like Part II (On The Run) to take it! Another massive snub for me is Drake, imo it is more Aoty worthy than Kendrick's! Also the only song nominated is started from the bottom, which was a hit but deff not the albums best. Also From Time with Jhene Aiko should have been up for rap/sung Just noticed no J Cole in rap album, that's a massive shock! |

Surprised at Lorde not being nominated for Best New Artist, but very chuffed at her other nominations.
Pop Solo Performance - Didn't there used to be a separate category for male and female performances? Why have they combined them? |

I would like to see Kacey Musgraves win some GRAMMYs.
I'm a little miffed at "Red" by Taylor Swift being nominated in the "Best Country Album" seeing as it is a pop album, though she used to be pop-country. |

Wooo hooo
Lana gets a Grammy nod. I doubt she will win but this is massive progress given how the USA had more or less refused to acknowledge her until six months ago.

Taylor Swift- Red if that album wins i will be kicking up a stormn the fact it was even nominated shows the Boards bias towards her she could fart and it be hailed as the best thing ever when all it was was an at best average pop album.
The rest glad Lana has finally been recognised, Macklemore hope he comes away with something and the rest so so. |

Got a feeling the Grammys will go political and give song of the year to Same Love. Not that i don't like the song or it's message. I'd just rather Bruno Mars, P!nk or Lorde get it.

It's like Beyonce all over again. For some strnage reason both of them seem to possess a strange hold over the GRAMMY's.
And a bit wierded out by Ed Sheerhan getting Best New Artist wasn't that released there at the beginning of 2012 not exactly new is he ![]() Maybe he went over to the States too late to be considered for last years GRAMMYs ceremony so he's been acknowledged this time round? I'm glad to see The Civil Wars acknowledged, I've been listening to their second album a lot lately. "I Had Me A Girl" is brilliant. It's just a shame that they don't like each other anymore. I heard that they had split up, though I don't know how true that is. Kacey Musgraves is the person that I most want to win. I found her music last month and I think that she is brilliant. "Follow Your Arrow" is a great song. Other favourites include "Merry Go 'Round", "I Miss You" and "Blowin' Smoke". I'd quite like to see Katy Perry win something as well, I've been playing "PRISM" a lot in my car lately. I wasn't at all keen on the album when it first came out but it grew on me. Beyonce is someone who I don't really get. She has the odd good song but in my opinion she has never produced a solid album. I like Beyonce's music in small doses. |

I have his album but I could never get into it. I don't get the hype with him at all.

I love the Civil Wars too hpe they get something, same wirh Katy but she is always the bridesmaid never the bride so it'sdoubtful she'll get a win. She has 2 in my oppinion The Writings On The Wall with DC and 4 the rest is peretty poor and vastly overrated. |

I can't remember the last time that someone from Australia or New Zealand has made such an impact on the charts and on the grammys like Lorde has.

You do realise she'll more than likely be a massive one hit wonder just like Carly Rae Jepsen and Gotye last year!

Adele has been nominated for Skyfall
Lana for Young and Beautiful and jessie J for Silver lining (crazy bout you) these are in the best song written for a film category The complete nominees list is here http://www.grammy.com/nominees So Lana has bagged two noms and Jessie has bagged her first I find it bizarre that Lorde has dominated the majority of the major categories, but yet, they couldn't be bothered to have her nominated for Best new artist. Plus i found it odd Ed sheeran has got a nominee for Best new artist. The rule states if you have been nominated beforehand, you can't be nominated for best new artist. He was nominated last year for The A Team. I remember Gaga was not allowed to be up for Best New Artist because of being nominated for Just dance a year prior. |

Yay!, Sara B and Kacey M.
It's good to see "Brave" is fighting it out with "Roar". If "Roar" wins it will be a bit of a piss take though. |
