The Royle Family, on Tuesday 23rd, The Vicar of Dibley and Mrs. Browns Boys on Christmas Eve are the ONLY BBC1 primetime repeats during Christmas fortnight. There are repeats after the late news but that happens anyway! Of course, they are never going to report anything factual are they?

Only Fools is a popular sitcom and is shown in the morning! And now they're including movies as repeats? And Wallace and Gromit? They MUST be on at Christmas. It's the law. If we eat the same food for Christmas dinner every year, why can't we watch the familiar shows on telly that have become part of the Christmas tradition?

well the vote is going well for the mirror with 56% saying they dont mind watching repeats at Christmas and neither do I - do they honestly think that a christmas classic should never be shown again

It's a shame they're not doing The Snowman/The Snowman and the Snowdog double bill on Christmas Eve this year, though!

I'd have thought they'd at least put The Snowman on E4 or More 4 on Christmas Eve.

It's laughable because if they reported upon the facts - the amount of BBC1 repeats between 6pm and 10pm then of course it would be 0%!

This years RT double issue cover is shaping up to look as good as the TV shows it'll feature - absolute garbage!

Thank goodness I have Sky, there's hundreds of channels of crap to choose from and at least one will be worth the watch. I still have high hopes for the Total TV Guide cover, it's usually very festive.

I had a strong feeling a tree would be involved!

I didn't even see yours. I was going with a subtle WWI nod without being to tasteless. Hence the focus on the vintage tree decorations.

TBH it's looking like the only thing I got right was the tree. I think your vision of the full tree might be accurate.

I don't like the way that front cover is developing. Will it really be someone holding a cat? For the RT Christmas front cover?

That would be so bad that it would be funny.

Does the cat signify a character on a show on TV this Christmas, or is it just a random pic?
