At the record store now. There are loads of artists releasing limited editions not just 1D. Only 5k copies of MM printed and they are £9.99 each . I am 82 in line so hopefully I get one. They're only giving 1 each.

Got one. Waited in Line for a hour. just checked eBay. Some are going for £30 already with 2 days to go. . It's a really nice looking disc.

There's even one ofor 71 US-$!! I like the picture though

i think what zayn girls (and boys) meant was they had time to zoom in on harry in another part of the vid but no time to zoom in on zaynie on his high notes...


when i broached this topic on the directioner girl in front of me in the queue earlier for MM vinyl in banquet records in kingston, she told me that ben winston explained that it was a choice between a close up of zayn or the special effects... btw she is a harry girl, she was with her mum who was ever so patient and jolly in the queue with us waiting to pay for her daughter's purchase...

Never been so cold in my life! I stupidly went without a jacket thinking it would be a nice sunny day as well as a quick in and out! Little did I know! LOL! Anyway, it was a good atmosphere. There was loads of different artists that had reissued stuff. Some of the people in the queue were a bit geeky! I bet they'd turn their noses up at 1D being featured in Record day!! They are going for around £50 buy it now on ebay, and some of the three day auction prices are to around around £30. I wonder what they'll end up at?

Anyone else get given a 1D easter egg?

Hey! Happy Easter!! Didn't get one of those but there was hundreds of them in my local Tesco yesterday.

Yeah my parents said they got the last one on the shelf and then went to Tesco the next week and there tons of them again, Lol! The chocolate was surprisingly better than their advent calender chocolate which was awful. Came with a nice mug so that's good.

Is anyone here going to Niall's charity football match? I want to but it's a bit far going all the way up to Leicester for a 90 minute game.

I didn't see one with a mug. The ones my local branch had were small ones with Jellybeans in. They were only £1.20. I can never understand on some of their endorsed stuff why they use such old pics. Liam's hairstyle in the easter egg box was the one he had 2 years ago. The calendars and annual pics are so old too.

I completely agree about the pictures on their merchandise. They all look so different now, especially Louis, Liam and Harry!

No 1D easter stuff for me (I don't think that the boys are getting that much from me when it comes to merchandising, apart from the fragrance, I don't have anything...), but it sort of is a miracle that I still get any (isn't it supposed to be mainly for kids? ), so I am quite happy with my chocolate hen I love chocolate!

I really don't like the video, or at least I'm hugely underwhelmed and disappointed by it. I'm in the #FireBenWinston category. It looked cheap, the special effects were done better by the Backstreet Boys and he completely hid Zayn's high note and ad-libs/riffs in order to capture Niall's cartwheel. And what awful acting from Niall at the start Zayn's hardly ever looked better and we had all of a 15 second close up. The song is optimistic but Harry looked like he was going to burst into tears. If by some miracle they release Happily I don't want Ben anywhere near the mv. The You & I vid is not so bad on a second viewing but they need to get some new people in their team. If Lou Teasdale is encouraging Louis and Harry to have their hair like that she can go.

Only 5 days until the tour starts, the boys better get their butts on a plane to Bogota Tuesday so they can get used to the time difference.


That's why they use the old photos - the young fans aren't on twitter so all they see of the boys is their music videos and the merchandise. The boys as they look now wouldn't sell pencil cases (what has happened to pretty Louis?). I really, really want them to stop being marketed to pre-teens over the next year, they won't be taken seriously as a music act until they do (men aren't going to buy the albums their nieces listen to). But I'm sure they are locked into merchandise contracts etc. They probably make most of their money that way.

WMYB made the top 100 downloads of the (since downloads began I think!!) Possible 10 yrs? They weren't in top 20 but forgotten where they were but impressive never the less for how short their careers have been

Yes I think you are correct re young fans. My granddaughters probably wouldn't like the new grown up 1D where they love the first concert movie which age and dress wise is pitched just right for them.

I don't mind the new video although I do think (except Zayn) they all look a bit rough

but the camera was in wide shot and you could still see zayn I dont get the whole thing of wanting a close up on zayn doing ad libs, you can seem him do it and he doesn't look into it or to be giving any effort to it at all, your eyes are just drawn to niall doing the cartwheel because he's moving and the effect.
They all seem to be suffering from the cold I think the idea of having them outside in the weather wearing just a jumper was a bit stupid, and what acting from niall? all he did was walk out of a door into the cold, how is that acting? and they are singers not actors

I agree that the bad wheather probably didn't help the video, I'm sure they did their best to fight the cold & look unbothered, but apart from Zayn, they all look a bit worse than they usually do... Better go for something indoor if they can't wear anything warm!
I found the video nice (better than I had expected), but it certainly isn't their best or most entertaining.

Add to that that I still don't believe in that song as the perfect single... (when people mostly talk about that high note & the ad libs at the end of the song made by Zayn, it tells you something about the song itself IMO). It is a nice album track, but I've considered it more as one of the fillers of the album... I don't get the last single choices!
I am a bit worried in a way, because i remember from the interviews that the boys talked about songs that I don't consider as stand out tracks on the album (like You&I, or Little Black Dress...) and didn't talk at all about songs that I love.
