Anyway, that was my intro for my comments now on the WWA tour.
I was worried how the boys would pull off a stadium show when they essentially dont dance or do much flash stuff on the stage like other acts try to do .
As much as a I love Love Love the rawness an honesty of their live singing, so close to the last tour, do you not think they should have tried to do more with the production? This is not only set it apart from the last tour but to enhance that differentiation from it as a massive stadium tour.
I'm not saying flash dance moves but even in the last tour they had a bit of a 'wow factor' in the show with the flying over the audience thing.
They could have had a few props on stage, something......
This show appears to have less 'Wow' than the last. I think that is a shame and i have seen some forum based fans on other sites start to pick up on this.
I am concerned that 1D are so used to fans support with little fanfare, that they might think they can continue to get away with this at a time when they really need to be upping the ante...
Just my thoughts for the moment.”

I agree with a lot of your points but I think the 'wow' factor is the technology. Going from videos taken further back in the stadium those screens look amazing - huge and very high definition. The visuals on them are fun too. I was worried it would be lots of pyrotechnics but thankfully they didn't do that. Take That do fantastic stadium shows with dancers and machinery (like the huge Progress man sculpture thing) but 1D aren't that sort of a group, plus their new pop-rock sound doesn't need dancing really. The songs are BIG now.
I do think it's the best they could do given the restrictions around their fans wanting to see their faces a lot and hating other women (e.g. dancers) touching their boys. I don't know if I'd want to see a similar set-up for several tours though. If they go a more drum&bass route for the next album they would probably do lots of lasers etc.

I also hope they perform You & I on BGT as it would be pretty good promo, if they do i think they might be on the final. Radio 1's Big Weekend is great as well, I think it's a good chance for people who have tickets that aren't necessarily big fans of them to see them perform and hear songs from the newest album hopefully gaining a few new fans on the way.

47 fans had to receive medical treatment after last nights concert in Peru, "several people are still being treated for symptoms of asphyxia - abnormal breathing as a result of a severely deficient supply of oxygen entering the body."
I hope they are all ok.

Here's a tumblr post about the crowd situation in Peru. It was BAD. I know at the Bogota show there were a lot of girls injured/fainting as well.

I've had to move back in crowds at festivals as I don't like being squashed (plus I'm not tall). I would say if you are going to the shows that there will be a lot of crazed 15 year olds desperate to see the boys so you might want to hang a bit further back (or bring binoculars). South America is super intense though and if you get a good group around you it could be worth going close.

Another few shows in S America and then I'll believe deep down that this tour is actually going to happen.
I hope if/when they do BGT Zayn's allowed to ad-lib, riff and belt out his notes. Luckily there are so few lyrics he shouldn't be able to forget them
