Rumours are they will be recurring students. (I doubt it where would they get the time!) Harry and Niall join the glee club and Zayn, Louis and Liam the football team. Now this I really doubt
Now this I don't believe at all! First of all the timing issue... And then the acting And isn't Glee slowly fading? It's not the same anymore, became more and more camp and loses viewers. Aren't One Direction bigger than that show?

Yeah I thought it sounded a bit out there. Maybe a guest slot but I very much doubt they'd have a recurring role. As Twingle said finding the time would be difficult. Yes, Glee is definitely fading! I used to watch but it is very poor now I don't bother.

i doubt it as well... how can they write all five in recurring roles? and fans wouldn't like if it's only one or two of them in an episode... so if ot's true, they have to be there all five all at once and all five disappear again for a period of time, lolz!!

Twitter rumour that the boys are to guest star in Glee next year.
IF true, probably a one shot deal. I always thought it would be fun to go an international Glee club competition. 1D and Little Mix can rep the UK.

Great news from the official midweek charts:

Albums:
1 One Direction - Midnight Memories (47.8k)
2 Robbie Williams - Swings Both Ways (46.7k)
3 Gary Barlow - Since I Saw You Last (37.0k)
4 Olly Murs - Right Place Right Time (28.4k)
5 Michael Bublé - To Be Loved (17.6k)

--> Over 19k sold yesterday! They even (slightly) increased their lead over Robbie. I read he has some more promo lined up this week, so he could still get to #1. But #2 looks almost certain and they're doing so much better this week than I'd expected

Singles:
1 Lily Allen - Somewhere Only We Know (21.7k)
2 Avicii - Hey Brother (15.0k)
3 Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You (14.8k)
4 Leona Lewis - One More Sleep (14.7k)
5 One Direction - Story Of My Life (13.1k)

--> Really bad sales overall, anything can happen here... But judging by their current itunes position (#9 combined), they're rather going down (out of the top 5), than back up... Bring on the next single

Some good news from the US (from Billboard's official chart report):

Last week's No. 1, One Direction's "Midnight Memories," falls to No. 2 with 117,000 (down 79% in its second week).
One Direction's "Story of My Life" ascends 7-5 with 108,000 (down 8%) in the Digital Songs Chart.
So again, like last week, a higher number than the one estimated yesterday. They clearly exceeded the industry's expectations (100-110k in the second week), which is brilliant! They were predicted to chart at #5, managed to stay in the top 2!

And SOML moving up again... Wonder where they end up in the official Hot 100 charts Last week, it was #8 and radio has only increased since then!

But anything from no on is a bonus, their chart placing and sales has exceeded all expectations

Wow! That's amazing. I was expecting it to drop out. When do the playlists freeze?

Apparently there is going to be another playlist next week, probably with only a few adds, so it could stay in another week. But they've been incredibly successful with SOML already! Playlisted ever since its first play

Thought so! Here is a video of the boys with their waxworks. Probably been seen but new to me. Zayn made me laugh "look at Niall's back".

I know I'm late but does anyone know how well MM did globally (in it's first week of release)?

Typical typical! (Where's the roll eyes smiley when you need one? )

Personally I felt that when they done that Australian interview Harry seemed very sincere when he said he's "100% in this band". Plus if it were true I would have thought his spokesperson would've just said nothing.

I don't understand what you mean with playlist freezing... Don't they keep on removing & adding songs each week all year long?

Those rumours (just like the Harry's new GF rumour) just never seem to end! They get quite for a month or so, but then they always make a come back!
At least, by now, I think fans take them a lot less seriously.
