Well done Harry but I think the documentary Blackfish did a lot of the ground work of discrediting them first

a few hours off twitter and One Direction announce their new album I'm joking of course, I'm off twitter quite a lot, just didn't expect that kind of news

"Made in the A.M." is the title of the album, you get a new track "Infinity" if you pre-order it.

I like the title

Here's a tumblr page which contains the song: http://theemmed.tumblr.com/

Have a listen, you never know how long it's going to be available

I really like the song, it's a nice ballad, suits my mood on rainy autumn days like today...

ah missed the link but will pre order anyway. The larries say the title refers to Louis's baby. They can always make it about them sheesh

It's out the same week as Beiber's. Interesting chart battle

Not crazy about infinity, but glad it is doing so well on iTunes. I wonder where it will chart. Hopefully higher than Naughty boy.

Beats 1 radio interview just before the Apple festival gig.
They sound like they did 4 years ago.

A bit raucous, but what a great interview. All 4 sound so upbeat.

Just heard infinity on the radio (sorry Andi the link still not working)

Not as catchy as DMD .I hope the album is more DMD standard than infinity

Also, a small gig - I'm guessing for the launch of the album - in London on November 14th: http://www.1dlondonsession.com/

Yes, will do. I'll post something tomorrow night. It was a great show. The guys were on top form.

Saw the boys last night at the O2! They were so good! Both me and my mum preferred the venue compared to wembley!

So glad that you both had a great time I prefer arenas to stadia any day. Last year's show at Manchester felt like I was seated at the end of an empty car park as, although in 'the best seats in the house', the fact that the people in the general admission area all ran towards the stage, leaving a vast chasm between us and them meant that there was hardly any atmosphere - it was really weird. Looking forward to some more detail from you about the show.

Two great vids of the boys from Capital: http://www.capitalfm.com/artists/one...tyGZlVLjX7b.97

I was idly going through YT the other evening checking out new vids of our boys. I found an acoustic version of Drag Me Down. It seemed to be in front of a small audience, it looked like the back view of Lou Teasdale in the front row. Anyway, Harry began perfectly and then Louis had his two lines but he was unable to do more than sing (well, attempt to sing) the first couple of words each time and then he just sat there with the guitar going, not singing at all, head down.

I've been trying to find it since but it has been pulled. Someone must have taken his auto-tune mic away. The rest of the guys did their lines just fine.

Poor Louis, he really has no natural voice, does he.

Oh my. You're treading close to the edge on an appreciation thread. Lol.

Oh sorry, I've been trying to find a good thread to join in on and usually go to DS for my other stuff. I don't want to upset Louis people (I'm a Harry nut) but I was a bit surprised at what I heard.

If anyone knows of a better place for me to wonder about Louis' voice then please point me towards it.

That's really harsh on Louis. I think he knows he's not the best singer in the band. But he's improved a lot. And his mic certainly isn't auto-tuned, you can sometimes hear when he's off key, which wouldn't happen if he was auto-tuned...
Maybe he's had a bad day, we all have them from time to time
