Lol! Ok I will probably get shot down for this (don't judge me) but personally I honestly think there is something a little fishy regarding Harry. Hiding things and such. Completely forgetting Larry but idk I just have a feeling.

Actually I got sucked into a pile of Larry videos the other night. I almost started to believe it and then I took a reality check and then the latest taking a date to a gay bar........Are the papers having a laugh!!! (and are they in the know and laughing at our expense!) So confused these days and I was convinced for years absolutely no way and now am not so sure!

So on that note I am off to bed...Night all and MTUK please don't fret as I said you weren't given a holiday and at least they explained why

Glad I'm not the only one. The main thing to me is say for example abrightz has posted various ziam tumblr posts and stuff and there are all the other ships etc but Larry is the only one treated differently. I know shippers are way more hardcore for them 2 but at the beginning they found it funny and played up to it. Imo I think Louis got the gay rumours more than Harry and got annoyed at it because let's say it could be true but for Harry instead.

I can't believe people actually buy into this harry is gay stuff. If he were trying to hide it he wouldn't do half the things he does, and his friends wouldn't make half the comments they make. They treat it as a joke, because it is one to them.

The papers are obviously desperate to create a story where there isn't one, so they come up with nonsense like Harry taking his apparently PR girlfriend to a gay bar. If he were gay and in a fake relationship to hide that fact, why on earth would he take her to a gay bar?! They come up with this stuff because they know there's an audience out there who are gonna eat up any hint of a 'scandal'. I tended to think most people retained some perspective on this, but it seems like more and more people are getting sucked in. And to be honest, if Larry shippers hadn't made up their ridiculous conspiracy theories and spread them everywhere to begin with, I doubt Harry would be getting anywhere near this amount of speculation on his sexuality from so many different quarters.

They found it funny and played up to it because they didn't realise people actually took it seriously. They thought it was just a joke. How wrong they were!

The english libel law may include that you can't say that you believe someone is doing something against the law. I suppose it's all a question of phrasing too...
It would be interesting if someone truly informed could explain this, but I don't know a thing about it myself.

And all the while, discussing someone's sexuality seems completely fine and not libellous (see the thread "celebs in the closet, who are they?"), probably because it's legal to engage in that activity...
And people can be completely rude to eachother, it seems to be a regular occurence...

IMO: They thought it was a great inside joke with the fans.

I have no clue what Harry does in his private time & with whom -I tend to believe he is straight (or bi, who knows?). I think he has dated some of the girls he has been seen with.

I also don't understand why it's the main focus for too many fans: some shippers don't seem to love 1D, they are foccused on Larry, each of their interaction, and somehow "pollute" us a bit because we start questioning what we thought (unlike them... oh no they believe! I almost liken it to faith...).

I found this story about Harry going to a gay bar with Kendall very funny because the boy could hardly shake off the paps & fans during his stay in NY, but somehow, he managed to go to this gay bar with Kendall and there is no picture... It's another insider BS IMO.
But because some people want Harry to be gay, it has become an additional proof: not only that Harry is gay, somehow, it also proves Larry too!

Thanks Annushka, I just have to put it behind me and move on. No idea about UK Libel law relating to what I said, but like Abz said earlier, it maybe that DS were just trying to protect themselves. I was a bit suprised though because as I mentioned before, I meant no harm. Anyway, tomorrow is a new day. I just have to forget it.
