I've not had anything and I don't expect I will for a while yet, either. 4.4.1 isn't even listed on the factory images site, yet. https://developers.google.com/androi...w=1#hammerhead

I've got a Nexus 4 and the 4.4 update is sitting there waiting for me to install it. Because of the 'problems' some devices had updating from JWR66Y i haven't done it yet.

Does this 4.4.1 address any of the issues that have been noted elsewhere for the N4 device?

http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/Dec2013/googl...-affected.html

A wide variety of problems are being reported by Nexus 4 users who've updated to Android KitKat. Some of the most serious issues involve the home-button ceasing to function, the phone dialler not working anymore and the lock-screen getting stuck.

Other owners of Google's smartphone have reported terrible battery drain since updating, laggy keyboard performance and some users have even reported that their device is now shutting down of its own accord.

hardly a reputable source to be honest.
i've not come across any of those issues, and from the various android and nexus forums i've been on i've not see "widespread" reports.

I only posted the first link:

http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2013/12/nex...kitkat-update/

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/52...s7-nexus10.htm

http://www.cultofandroid.com/46600/b...n-the-nexus-4/

If it isn't a big problem then it's good, just didn't want to 'risk' it

when a report says "There are literally thousands of complaints just like this one." then i tend to discard it fairly quickly.

Funny, sounds exactly the same as the complaints Samsung Galaxy S3 users had following the 4.3 update.

No update to 4.4.1. No problems since updating to Kit Kat either tbh

I think it's safe to say the OTA update people are sideloading represents what everyone will end up with. I've installed it and a quick play with the camera supports the general opinion that this update has ironed things out nicely. The Verge did some tests and there's other videos on YouTube clearly showing the camera is performing much better.

The low volume issue with 4.4 on the Nexus 5 was my major gripe and 4.4.1 has certainly sorted that out.

Nothing to complain about now - couldn't be happier.

Got it about an hour ago.
It's 4.4.2 rather than .1

Camera faster, never tried the sound

Got 4.4.2 on my 7 but not on my 4 yet. Anyone know if this is to fix the google play services battery draining bug?

Got 4.4.2 on my 32GB black Nexus 5 this morning. Haven't seen an extensive change log yet but appears to be mainly VM indicator and security fixes + the expected 4.4.1 fixes for the camera, volume and notifications bar.

It updated over my rooted 4.4.1 OK and left everything intact data-wise, so I just need to re-root later.
