I recieved my OTA update for my Nexus 5 this morning. Everything went ok and things do seem a little faster on the camera and a little louder on the speaker. The only odd thing was immediately after the update I recieved a text from o2 informing me "if you want to use WAP or MMS on this phone you'll need our help, so please call us on 0844..." I've never had this before, but the phone mobile internet seems to be working fine without their help.

this happens sometimes. the network can see some info about your phone and when they detect a change they think you might need some settings, which they would send you but the nexus 5 isn't on their list yet.

it's largely anachronistic because nearly all modern phones have the settings built in.
