I'm sure that they would also agree with all the 'wonderful' people on here who, despite all the emerging evidence to the contrary, would be behind the sainted Amy, vilifying anyone who made a comment about her (ie Lucy, Mo, etc) as being 'hateful', a 'bitch' etc etc whilst then adding their own epithets against the accused (and not appreciating the double standards they are applying).

What emerging evidence? A few celebs who liked Lucy and didn't like Amy supporting the view that she was unfairly edited. Matthew has complained about his editing too (when he was seen telling Rebecca not to tell him what to do)

No matter how they edited the show, Lucy still didn't have a good word to say about Amy AFTER she'd left the camop. They didn't put words in her mouth when she went into the Bush Telegraph and suggested that Amy was crying for the cameras and had maybe been told to to further her career.

Things improved after Laila and Annabelle had left as it broke up the clique and Rebecca is too nice a person to spend her life running someone else down.

BTW most people defending Amy have admitted her faults - lying about the contraband and being selfish so where does the idea come from that anyone thinks Amy is a saint? Pity Lucy's supporters have taken the "it's all doewn to the editing" line

I've never seen Emmerdale, or hated anyone on a rtv show.

There was never a 'clique'. It shows how weak a concept it is when you try to put Annabel in it.

Annabel did not seem particularly close to anyone, but seemed to retain a residual closeness to Vincent after what they had been through. It seemed that the second closest person to her was either David or Kian.

Since Rebecca was friendly fairly equally with everyone, including Amy, for the first half of the series, you have ended up with a 'clique' of Lucy and Laila. And there isn't really any evidence that even THEY were especially close. The idea of a 'clique' seems based on the fact that from time to time we saw Laila, Lucy, Rebecca and a couple of the others, who varied, sitting in the MIDDLE of the camp chatting and laughing. That is not a 'clique' at all; we never saw them hiding out in the treehouse together, or at the creek, or any other semi-private place, or got any evidence at all that they wanted to do any such thing.

And I bet some people on here will STILL say they haven't got the foggiest idea why Lucy (and perhaps some other women)are jealous of Amy. Nope, no idea whatsoever. To me her jealousy radiated off her every time she looked (sorry I should say looked down her nose) at Amy. Sad to see in a grown woman.

This place is SO see-through with it's completely OTT and disproportionate dislike of one person. It was pretty clear from the off what reaction many people on here would have. I had no idea it would be this bad though!

Careful with this post though- you will probably get jumped on by several of the usual subjects/ clique, all back slapping each other and telling themselves they are right, whilst telling you you are wrong, but not making much sense when they tell you.

No,I wasn't saying that people's opinion are not important. The poster in question was deriding the using of someone they believed had no authority in the matter; so my point is his/her opinion is as valid as anyone else's.



And as for quoting somebody just because they agree with me is rubbish. It's not a question of opinion it's a question of fact. She's posed in the mags;done her bikini shots and has judged at beauty contest; and then has the cheek to ask Amy if she felt like a piece of meat ,for doing much the same.

I love the way the three men slagging off the women were painted as heroes and not bitches. Because in some peoples world men cannot be bitchy....in fact in my experience they can be worse. They seem to have a whole dictionary of derogatory words that they can use on women.

I must say I was surprised at that post from AOTB. Didn't he or she spend much of the last couple of days saying that he or she just wanted a reasonable discussion without name-calling, and that everyone should be more polite? then post this horrible, shallow, jeering post? I didn't understand lucy mane's post, but if all it was was posting two pictures of women in bikinis to show that one of them was younger and prettier than the other, what a shamefully cheap and juvenile thing to do. Lucy looks great in the picture of her, and seems very happy in her private life; I really don't think adults need to stoop to pretending that everyone not a top beauty queen must be jealous.

Certainly, the assumption that a woman must be jealous (and they know this) without any rational basis for it shows that the idea is derived from their cultural biases against women, rather than anything else (as well as demonstrating a confusion between 'fact' and 'I think' in some cases).

Lucy seems to have a problem with older women as on another thread she writes something about pensioners...... Maybe she isn't quite as happy as she says.
