I think that particular person is seeking attention to him/herself. Judging by the threads started by the same person, he/she also seems to take a perverse delight in throwing s..t into the fan and then standing back to see where it lands. Are you listening TerryM22?

As far as I can tell (on mac and iPad) the forum is fixed and, now the problems have gone, I like it. Sleek. The half tones work. It's good.
Love him --->

Roman type is always clearest to read, reserving as usual bold and italics (or bold italic capitals, if you want to knock yourself out) for emphasis. Text in bold and capitalised text are much harder to read, and I agree with the poster who finds that it puts their back up to be shouted at

When posters use bold text it looks as though they are shouting.

Normal, normal, normal.

The all-bold text is very bad for people with eye problems, as a number of FMs with such issues, myself included have pointed out.

Having looked at the forum again in Firefox, the font is a lot darker now, and much easier to read. They seem to have fixed many of the problems members were complaining about when it first got switched over, it was so pale at the start that I could only see the bold posts easily, the others just faded into the brilliant white and were totally illegible.

Not that I care particularly any more, I'm keeping my own stylesheet with white font on black background which is far far better for me.

The forum now looks depressingly like like the end of the toilet roll when I am left with the choice of using The Sun or carefully replacing my pants and sidling downstairs trying not to spread the chocolate so I can fetch the kitchen roll.
