Male has to be John Fashnau . In the second series poor John couldn't understand why he kept getting picked by the public for so many BTTs . His trials were some of the best ever .

Female has to be Janice Dickenson and her outrageous behaviour and outspokenness and battles with Lynne Franks.

Janice Dickinson was a laugh a minute....oh maaaaaaannnnnnn

Male and female combo was Kim Woodburn and George Hamilton (chuckling to myself as I type this)

She WAS nice, I agree. It's quite sad what a media monster she turned into. And Jimmy Osmond was a gem.

George Takei will always be my favourite, with his endless gentle humour. Though Vincent this year reached the stage where I would start laughing every time he started speaking. I can't understand why he didn't get the votes.

I liked Stacey Solomon as well. (though perversely I can understand why some people couldn't bear her.) She was so harmlessly unaware.

Full list of contestants here

For me - David Gest, and Carol Thatcher - probably because I was convinced I'd dislike both, but ended up loving them both (David Emanuele falls into this group too).

ETA - honourable mention to George Hamilton, too - I ended up with such a crush on him!

How could I forget about David Gest, he was hilarious! Did he win, or was it somebody bland and forgettable?

Edit: just checked, it was Matt Willis with Mylene taking the runner up spot.

Forgot about David Gest . He has to be one of the best also because I'm sure most of us didn't know what to expect and his hilarious, outrageous stories

Leagues above any other campmate ever - David Gest. What a revelation! I'm sure there was a mess made of the count that year as I'm sure he actually won!

Then:

Jimmy Osmond - just bloody adorable and one of the best exclamations ever in this show 'Get me out of here ... but I'm too embarrassed to say I'm a celebrity' Plus he had the common knowledge to know that the simple combination of salt and pepper can make ANYTHING bearable to eat and so he smuggled these two simple things in.

Stacey Solomon - just bloody adorable and her double act with Dom Joly was a joy

Carole Thatcher - just didn't understand the word 'danger'

Sid Owen and Sherry Murphy - just really nice people

George Takei - for an elderly gentleman to take on what he did and with such good humour was just lovely - plus - he brought out the best in that pain in the arse Joe Swash

Helen Flanagan - for providing such genuine drama within the camp by starving her campmates (but surprisingly whilst bloody annoyed - they all seemed quite fond of her)

It was. Remember when she had to secretly get his attention, and she did it by hitting him in the eye with a stone?

I had just remembered that before I saw your post!

Think my favourites were George Takei, Janice Dickinson, Stacy S, David Gest and Carol Thatcher.
Though I couldn't describe her as a favourite I did get immense amusement from Gillian Mackeith's fainting fits!!!
