I'm not a fan of Natalie, but the girl is a superb dancer who appears to be being picked on by a very grumpy old so and so.

Quite so, Len is a disgrace and should be hoofed from the show and I have been saying it for years......he always finds someone to pick on and his scoring is crazy.

I have to laugh at these judges scoring Abbey weekly as being as good as or better than Natalie Not even in her dreams will she ever be close and as for Patrick being compared to her scorewise....Jeeze I am flabbergasted, yes sure its fine for peeps watching the show to have their fav's as they are not giving out the scores but the judging this year is lamentable.

Natalie and Artems Paso was correct swishing of skirts are essential in a Paso.

Len is downright rude and should go now they did a beautiful dance which he slaughtered.

Whether people like Len or not is totally irrelevant - when it comes to dance technique he knows what he is talking about.

He didn't criticise Hairy Biker guy (sorry forgotten his name) and Mark too much because he accepted that however hard they tried they were frankly never going to achieve very much. But Natalie is different - she has got the ability.

I think the problem is, the judges are not supposed to overtly criticise the professionals, which I think is wrong. In Natalie's case, she danced what she was given beautifully; her hands and her body shaping were excellent.

Nevertheless, the dance wasn't a proper paso. There was 1 twist turn and a chasse cape, and that was about it. There's more to paso than just walking about - never mind how well the walking is done. it was yet another SHOWDANCE choreographed by Artem. Will he never learn?

He could take a lesson from Aljaz who choreographed a stunning Viennese for Abbey tonight, there were a few little 'tricks', but 90% of the dance was pure Viennese.

It's not LEN who's the fool, it's ARTEM

I did wonder whether Len was p*ssed tonight, actually...

Not so much because of his scoring, but his comments were, at times, very eccentric, culminating in his very sleazy comment to Abbey.

Whether he is correct or not is objective. But the guy is so rude and nasty to anybody who doesn't see things his way yet he is so precious when it comes to any "insult" even perceived like the way he continually tries to bully Bruno whenever he doesn't tow the lines. I feel really bad for Bruno having to take all of this from Len. The guy (Len) is a narcissistic knob quite frankly.

And I'm not a prudish guy by any stretch of the imagination but I found his leering comments to Abbey uncomfortable and not funny or cheeky. He had this real leer on his face as he said it. Dirty old git.

And if Ashley is in the dance-off, he is at the mercy of the other judges because Goodman will bear a grudge for being snapped at.

It's his smile completely in contrast to his real angry self that annoys me. The goofy, for TV smile.

I did not like or approve of Len's grumpy stance and shouting, but I do wonder if he is as frustrated with the N&A showdances as many of us are. Natalie has grace and poise and the ability to really wow. That paso was imo disappointing. It looked very samey to a lot of her other dances. I was looking forward to it and then afterwards felt let down. I repeat that I don't like the shouting from Len, but I can see his point. Natalie is no better than she was in week one, and should be flying by now and creating never to be forgotten moments.

Totally agree, no good slating Len for stating the truth although he can be a bit of a grumpy old fool at times. That Paso was more of a flamenco than a paso. They were not in hold for more than a few seconds. Even my husband noticed it and commented on it and he isnt a dancer and knows absolutely nothing about dancing but he spotted that.

There should have been more in hold but Len can't stand Artem pushing the boundaries- he took it out on Kara a few years ago when he did not like the choreography

Whether or not you like Natalie, I think the way Len spoke to her was just really rude and nasty, saying she was "in jeopardy". It left me feeling very uncomfortable and I felt it spoilt the mood of the programme.

i thought they were unnecessarily rude to them tonight, i did think she looked like she might cry, not nice.

i do agree with (some of) what was said, but the delivery was harsh, and at the end of the day, she is a guest on a light entertainment show who should be treated with respect. its not actually a dancing competition..

It's sad that some people can't deal with constructive criticism or difference in opinions, I wonder when they will realise that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows!

Len was right about the Paso - Natalie did lots of walking around swishing her skirt, but there should have been much more in hold and there was no intense connection between them like there should have been. No good walking around twisting your hands into (admittedly nice) positions if there is very little proper Paso in the dance. When it was finished, my husband and myself looked at each other and said......."naaaaah, not good enough".

Agree. Artem taking Natalie to watch flamenco was wrong. Flamenco is as different to Paso as an Argentine Tango is to a ballroom tango, and only leads to confusion.

Len was totally right about Natalie & Artem. She wafted her skirt very well for a minute & not much else.

However the way he said it & his whole attitude stunk.

Not entirely a "guest" - she is actaully employed to be on the show, being paid a vast sum of money with the added bonus of being taught a skill that would cost anyone else literally £thousands.

I find with Len he has his favourites and doesn't change his opinion. He holds a nasty grudge too.. I suspect he's going senile.

Has any one re watched Susanna's paso? There was very little of that in hold either. It also included a lot of skirt swishing. I am not sure why one is lambasted and the other is not.

Explain remembering she dances the routine she does not create the routine
The issue is why Artem writes them like this. He seems to manage to produce anything that doesn't connect that well with the audience, and which also doesn't focus on the basic dance. Is that because he works like that , or does he do it to match what Natalie can do?

I've always thought it unfair when the celebrities are blamed for what the judges perceive as "faults" in the dance which are the result of the choreography, and a direct attack, which Len's was tonight, is unforgivable. Natalie danced what she was asked to dance by the choreographer, she didn't make the dance up; the comments should have been directed at Artem. And to say that she was in jeopardy, as if she had done something wrong, was threatening and unpleasant.
