Len was correct in what he said it was the way he said it was so wrong. I dont find any chemistry or wow factor in Natalie and Artems dances but that can be said without the need for a nasty tone.

Artem is really selling Natalie short, now her and Brendan would have been ace actually her and nearly any of the male pro's

What's this about? The paso? Artem thinks he can fool him with costumes and music and do his wafting as always. Well he can't. Well done Len for finally taking his gloves off.

This. I haven't really cared for Natalie's dances, but was looking forward to this paso - traditional music and a good dancer should have produced something to outshine Susanna's. But it just didn't. And obnoxious as he was, Len was on the right track if not quite there.

To me Natalie and Artem were dancing for the audience, not for each other. There'd be moments of focus on each other and then swoosh, they break away, break eye contact and go back into swirling and swooshing. To me couples in this dance should break only to be drawn back together as if by irresistible gravity; with Natalie and Artem it's the other way around - they come together only to be pushed and held apart by an irresistible repulsion.

And it's not just this dance - look at their VW, their American Smooth, their Quickstep, all overwhelmingly side by side as if it hurts to touch each other.

She is very very good. But she's being let down by Artem. But why?

Wouldn't most of us expect to be paid "literally thousands" of pounds for three months work.

He doesn't want to win with Natalie. He does not want to win again, because he values his win with Kara so highly.

She is not let down by Artem. She is let down by Len and his bias an bizarre comments . If he hated Natalie and Artems dance cos it wasn't traditional' how come he liked Brendan's an Sophie's?

Because it was a tango in hold, with staccato elements done when something was happening in the music. So it looked natural, not as if they were having a fit. Len had enough of these two butterflies circling around each other, afraid to touch each other.

Have to say I agree, the dance disappointed me because there was no contrast within it, it seemed all to be danced on one note. Totally agree with Len, a lack of the fabulous shaping you get when in hold in a Paso because there wasn't enough in hold.
She dances what's she's given beautifully, technically she's exceptionally good and she got the Flamenco element down pat but I just found it lacking.
Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and she looked fabulous.

Bias?? He's been overscoring her for weeks, but it's finally become too much for him to stomach.

Len likes dancers to dance in hold, or at least to dance as a couple, not as people who happen to be on the same floor at the same time doing the same moves. And that's what Artem keeps delivering. Time and time again.

If they were dancing as a couple, they'd be exquisite. But they're not and they aren't. Not if that's what one wants from a dance.

You might have expertise in dance. I do not. I just see a beautiful dance and a stupid old codger having a tantrum about something ie Len! Nasty and biased .

I would agree with this though, there's ways to say things and he did come across as being petty for the sake of it.


I may be wrong but I believe JenniferF is talking about learning to ballroom/latin dance costing thousands not the fee the stars are paid for taking part in SCD.

Last week Len told Artem he wanted more in hold, but Artem ignored him, so that made Len see red.

Natalie and Artem dance 2 dances. A his and hers. There's no coupling. None. Traditional music and costume but where was the connection?

So feeble. I admit I like neither of them but I love the paso. That was nothing like a paso.

Confirming thats the amount we pay to learn the skills.

Artem's paso with Kara was much better.

Please read Kaycee's post in which she said that a skill is being learned that would literally cost thousands of pounds. I was confirming that it is correct, I hate to think how many thousands of pounds I have spent over the years.
