Sophie and Brendan not the best dance tonight but still my favourite couple. I enjoyed Ashley the most tonight. Patrick/Susanna were the weakest.

Based solely on the individual performances, Abbey & Aljaz were by far the best. They were, for the first time, undermarked and deserved at least one more ten IMO - and this is coming from someone who isn't particularly keen on Abbey!

Natalie for me with Patrick a close 2nd. Love them both

It was particularly obvious tonight that the judges are much more picky with Natalie & Artem than anyone else.

Sophie & Brendan.
Sophie, particularly last week and especially this week IMO, has really come to life and is really enjoying dancing now.

Don't get all the love for Abbey and Alijaz this week. It was a dramatic song about stabbing a woman to death and they did it all smiley and frothy and romantic. It was just weird to watch. Another example of the song not fitting the dance.

Abbey and Aljaz with Sophie and Brendan a very close second

As for the V W music, it wasn't great but as we have been told the dancers dont get to choose, then then did the best they could with what they were given

She died at the end, what more do you want? And the smiling of Aljaz was a re-enacting of the love and happiness he felt with her. Her smiling - not at him - was the happiness she felt at, well, being loved by him until she met someone else...

They danced the story alright.

Having now seen all the dances. For me only Ashley & Ola had the wow factor. But for me it had a double wow factor - that was the best performance by far for me.

Second by a bit of a distance was Abbey & Aljaz for me. She doesn't just dance she is always smiling and giving a sense of joy to the dance. Very smooth, fabulous lines ... she is getting stronger and stronger.

Third I suppose Natalie & Artem but it just seemed a bit dull for me - although her dancing ability alone puts her into third (IMO) for this round of the dances. Followed closely by Sophie - which I enjoyed the story telling.

Natalie and Artem, closely followed by Ashley and Ola.

I was very impressed with Ashley, that routine was dangerous.

I wasn't really wowed by any of the main dances. I've gone for Natalie & Artem as they were head & Shoulders above the rest in the Swingathon. I really hope if they get to the final that they do their Jive there.

Abbey & Aljaz because I absolutely love a traditionally danced VW full of twirls and swirls and hers was gorgeous.
