Yes, her dress was totally different from the "sick green monstrosity" shown earlier in the week on ITT, which they said would be hers.
Credit to her if she refused it.

Tonight I liked Abbey and Sophie the most. The VW was beautiful, but this was probably the first time I liked tango with the modern music. It was because Brendan's choreography was very clever. He aligned all the staccato elements with music, so for once it did not look like dancers were having a fit, but it felt very natural.

Both were excellent routines, but Aljaz & Abbey covered the floor better - longer more sweeping strides - despite dreadful music.

Abbey - excellent topline, head and shoulders held exceptionally well throughout the dance. She had couple of foot faults, i.e couple of missed heel leads.

Sophie - awkward topline, head at wrong angle, and her left elbow sticking up rather than resting lightly on Brendan's arm. And far more serious foot faults in that she kept taking her foot off the floor instead of gliding, which made her a bit skippy.

You may think Sophie & Brendan were the best to watch, and that's fine. Beauty, as they say, in in the eye of the beholder!!

I agree with this

Oh don't get me started, none of that is true.

Abbey has been the most successful BNTM model, despite not winning. She was selected to star in a joint US/UK produced fly-on-the-wall documentary series on breaking into the US modelling world. Pre-Peter and off the back of her own popularity. She's presented fashion segments on tv shows and was a regular guest on James Cordon's World Cup show - I'll give you that one because of Peter, but there is no doubt she was and is successful in her own right. If anything, I imagine her marriage has been as much a hindrance as an an asset to her career.

Either way, she is a lovely girl with an admirable work ethic. I loved that she bounced off that swing-a-thon floor and continued to dance along even after being eliminated. She has spirit.

I thought her dance was really beautiful and elegant. I loved it and probably my fave from her. I would have loved it even more with a different song choice.

I thought she was great last night, she's doing really well. She does seem a bit jumpy and weird after her performances so I've not really warmed to her personally but I can't fault her dancing.

Yes she and Aljaz were the best couple last night. They certainly are a magical couple on the dance floor.

Abbey was best again two weeks on the trot for me.

She is the one that has caught up with Natalie and she deserves to win more than Susanna or Sophie.

Abbey's name was linked to Peter before she got the BNTM gig.

And LOL at the notion that Peter has been a 'hindrance' to her career!

Abbey only deserves to win if enough people want her to win and vote for her - I'd personally prefer Sophie to win and even though I'm not great fan of Susanna - even she would make a more palatable winner for me than Abbey!

Off Strictly I'm a massive fan of Susanna the presenter. Don't know much about Abbey.

On Strictly Abbey has done much better than Susanna and Sophie IMO.

Are we voting for who we think deserves it from their dancing on the series? If not why bother with the dancing?

Abbey's impressed me the most this series.

I think Abbey has been over marked/rated on many occasions - her VW was nice last night , I'll give her that but I'm not going to vote for her on the basis of a few pleasant ballroom dances - more importantly her personality doesn't appeal to me - I find her very irritating.

Sophie gets my vote because I enjoy her as a dancer and a personality - I also generally enjoy her dancing more than Abbey's.

I started the series hoping Susanna or Rachel would win. Rachel was a disappointment and Susanna has not improved like I expected.

Sophie's Charleston really was something, but I still think she's not matched that since.

I love Abbey's dancing and if personality does come in to it she seems charming.

Reading these boards I wonder about her public support but I've hardly voted this series so far. Unless she starts dancing poorly Abbey will be getting my votes the final two weeks.

Having said that just noticed Abbey and Aljaz top the favourite couple poll for this week

You're voting for your favourite, that's what viewers are told to do every single week. What qualifies as any given individual's favourite will be completely different person to person.

People will do whatever they want to do regardless of what they are told. Why spend money on somebody they don't like. Nothing strange about that.

She was stunning.

I can't see anyone else winning.

That is laughable.

It properly bugs me that she's there. That little girl might watch and think marry a rich guy is a way to get what you want, instead of working hard like the likes of Susanna, Natalie and Sophie.

Natalie is always the best. Apart from her Abbey was the best. Wasn't a fan I preferred Sophie and Patrick although I am warming to her consistently high standard. I now think she will win.
