Times Have Changed

Now that (nearly) all of us realised that a culture in which 'untouchable' male celebrities can molest people in their dressing rooms is not acceptable, could somebody please explain to Len that his 'invitation' was very unfunny.

Abby is a 27 year old wife and mother.

Suggesting a similarity to actions carried out on, for example, an innocent 14 year old fan is stretching things to breaking point.

If it was a serious request I could understand your outrage. However Abbey is not a defenceless young girl/woman with no-one to stand up for her (or unable to stand up for herself) and Len made a joke sitting a distance away, behind a desk, in front of millions of people and not suggestively in a dark corner somewhere.

Surely the world has not become so hard and frightening that it is not okay for people to gently, tongue in cheek flirt with other.

Agreed. And it was clearly a joke, not a good one but it was a joke.
