She doesn't always look that way. She didn't on 'House of Tiny Tearaways' or 'Great British Sewing Bee'. I blame the 'Strictly' stylists.

People complain about the dresses Tess wears but I can't make a comment about the way Claudia looks?
Her 'look' (because it is a look let's be fair - it's TV) sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't 'get' the weird fringe and giant eye lashes that make it look like they're going to crush her face. She's got charisma and wit, but her look needs changing in my opinion. |

I ADORE Claude, she's deliciously proper bonkers! I actually love her chemistry with Tess,I think Claudia brings out the best in Tess, as well as being effortlessly funny herself.
It's a refreshing change to see two women fronting a high profile show, rather than one dolly bird (showing my age!)used as an ornament for the male presenter. And I'm not a rabid feminist, I just love the Claudia/Tess combo! |

Claudia is an absolute delight, she's so witty and endearing and cute. I just LOVE her.
IF Bruce was to retire than I think without a doubt the show should include Claudia on a full time basis. Anyone who can make reading the phone numbers and contact details so interesting and into funny banter gets my vote...so natural and effortless!! |

In that case I hope Bricie goes on forever. She's dreadful in every respect.

I reckon Tess is under orders from Fforsyth to play the dumb blond hostess role. With him not there, and with Claudia's natural energy and spontaneity, she really comes into her own and made the hosting of the show watchable. Unlike when she has to know her place when Fforsyth's there.
Claudia is brilliant. A naturally zany sense of fun. As for her clothes, it might be her own style, but so what? If that's what she like. But I doubt it is, having seen photos her "dressed up" for events and how she dressed for "The Great British Sewing Bee" - a programme she presented brilliantly, naturally empathising and encouraging the contestants. She is so underused by the BBC. She's a complete natural in front of the cameras. And it's not a case of IF Fforsyth retires - it's WHEN. Hopefully at the end of this series. |

Claudia Winkleman permanent on Strictly no way she makes me cringe especially when she says she is excited, she makes a 4 year old child who is excited over Christmas as being subdued. She and Zoe Ball should be replaced

I love Claudia and am grateful that I can just relax and enjoy the show rather than having to fast forward through the drivel that spews from Brucie each week. I used to love watching Brucie but cringe now, it's certainly time for him to retire and Claudia would be a perfect replacement.

This is why I don't understand why there are any discussions about who should replace Bruce - we already have a great presenting pair in Tess and Claudia. The BBC would be mad to look elsewhere.

Women now regularly wear trousers and it's time men started wearing skirts (metaphorically). |

I wish they would get rid of Tess Daly. She is the biggest turn off on the programme IMO. I cringe every time she opens her mouth. She is so full of herself.

Only if the BBC want to turn SCD into a Saturday night farce...Imo nothing about Mrs Winkle says presenter, clown maybe but never presenter. I can't stand the woman, she looks and acts like a fall out from St Trinian's. I would definitely switch off.... |

Clearly Claudia's humour appeals to many here. Not for me I just find it silly and at times cringeworthy. A big factor in my getting the result from the spoiler and not watching the result show.
I'm happy it will be Bruce and Tess from now on! |

I adore Claudia. She's absolutely fantastic - funny, natural and just a little bit bonkers. She is fabulous on her Radio 2 Arts show and would make a terrific host should Brucie retire! Come on, BBC!

Sometimes I like Claudia, sometimes she just annoys me.
She is quite funny although her clothes and hair drive me mad - she looked like a scarecrow last night. I used to like her on SITT but now much prefer Zoe |

I thought it was quite telling when Tess said to Claudia at the very end of the show "I love you Claud!" She must have been so happy that the show ran completely smoothly and professionally, no stupid Christmas cracker jokes, no cock-ups with the autocue. 100% better this week.

My ideal couple of presenters would be Zoe and Claudia. Tess has a stiff, false air but Zoe is much more natural. As for Claudia, she is awesomely intelligent and witty - I think her brain works ten times faster than anyone else's.
I can't see Debra Stephenson doing this for Tess: Debra Stephenson does Claudia Winkleman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdVUOaL6brY "The King was, like, yonks ago" - I think Claudia helped to write that! |
