1. Kevin should drink less coffee and do his homework.
2. Artem needs to do his homework, does he know what ballroom dancing is?
3. The producers need to do their homework. Do they know how to make suitable music choices for the dances?
4. The judges need to do their homework.
5. Bruce needs to do more homework.

1. I thought Kevin's forehead vein was going to explode with the combination of the AT comments and being chucked out of the swingalingadingdong first (and too early IMO)
2. Natalie is a lovely dancer but for me she has not improved since week one and so I find her dancing leaves me cold
3. Really awful music choices (by the producers) for Sophie and Susannah
4. The rumba is a very difficult dance for a male celebrity, so we were told repeatedly tonight
5. Better without Bruce but Tess and Claudia seem forced and unnatural when they interact so whilst I think Bruce will go after this year, I don't think they will get the gig.

6) (After the results show) For heaven's sakes get rid of that damned spinning camera, I had to look away for much of the show because of nausea. It's not artistic, it's not making it look more dynamic or giving the couple more movement, it's making me SICK!!

1. I appreciate being able to watch the programme without having to fast-forward all the bits that involve Bruce...
2. ...but it wasn't a particularly good week was it?
3. Patrick: over-marked in the rhumba (not a dance I wanted to see again) and not eliminated soon enough in the swingathon (please drop this from the show).
4. Still can't warm to Natalie - just find her routines boring.
5. Are we heading for an all-female final, or will the judges save Patrick no matter what?

I've watched the AT a few times and it is pretty good. I think I expected the usual AT but now realise that the music made that impossible.

Try it again a few times and I think you will like it much better.

1. Claudia was brilliant, (my FF button got a rest this week) and Tess could not have made it clearer how much happier she was with her co-presenter.
Anyway, the dancing...
2. Commendable choregraphy for once from Ola, I enjoyed Ashley's salsa, it was fun.
3. Abbey's viennese waltz was beautiful, her frame is impressive and she is very graceful.
4. Susanna's passionate/sexy/smouldering face was hilarious, man that was a wreck of an AT!
5. The swingathon order of exit was bizarre, still worth it to see Kevin throw a tantrum.

1. Similar to the Week 9 comedown of Blackpool, this was the comedown of Musicals week.
2. Susanna's music was horrific for her dance, and not great for Sophie or Abbey either.
3. Patrick and Natalie are great dancers, but don't get me excited in any, way, shape or form.
4. Len was a bit 'much'.
5. Claudia Winkleman is one of my absolute favourite people in the public eye. She is just as phenomenal on Film 2013. I hope her presence increases further next year.

1) Susanna and Kevin's AT was awkward from the start and didn't get much better
2) In all the issue with her top line, Sophie's performance and acting levels are definitely improving.
3) Ashley didn't deserve to go- I thought his Salsa was absolutely tremendous! Fantastic choreography from Ola. If the reports of her leaving are true I will be upset, I thought she did a great job!
4) I wish Patrick could maintain that level of control in all his dances. Anything with the slightest hint of speed and he's flailing like a fish out of water! His Rumba was actually rather nice and sophisticated for a change!
5) Abbey's VW was, in my opinion, the best VW in a very long time on Strictly. It was traditional, but with a bit of added passion- big thumbs up to Aljaz's choreography! Very much deserved its 10s, possibly/probably more!

Cheeky 6 for The Twistathon) It was a shambles! If you're going to have one, give them time to dance and judge them properly! Patrick and Abbey were much worse than Ashley and Susanna!

3. Natalie & Artem were fabulous in the swingathon
4. I loved Brendan's choreography yet again & hope Sophie & Susanna are safe, even though they had the weakest dances.
5. When will Tess learn to call Ola 'Ola' & not 'Owelah' ?”

Yes! Everytime she says it I scream at the TV "IT'S OLA LIKE DOLLAR!"

After reading all of the posts, it seems that Abbey is the only one who managed to escape controversy this weekend, peacefully getting on with her dances, doing them well and not having anything to complain about.

And I'm relieved especially after last week

When they asked her and Aljaz to exit the dancefloor during the swinghaton, she just squealed " woooooop " and quietly left the stage .

Tess needs to work on chivvying the judges along early in the show so they're not racing by the end... (this happened last time Bruce had a weekend off as well)

Abbey looked and danced beautifully tonight.

Susanna has finally realised that she's not that good a dancer and Kevin's inexperience of AT made it much more obvious as he couldn't choreograph to hide her inability.

Len was rude and grumpy to pretty much everyone - does he think when Bruce isn't on that he can become the resident grouch?

Swingathon was a mess - was Patrick hiding behind the others (until they were eliminated) - no way was he better then either Ashley or Abbey.

1) The Michael Jackson 'leaning into the wind' move is naff at the best of times, breaking off an AT to do it and leaving Susanna alone and exposed was a big mistake (although, to be honest, the music was a terrible choice anyway)
Although if that choreography was bad...
2) ...the Saturdays had brought along some lads from the local sixth-form college to randomly strut around behind them.
3) Claudia's heavy eye make-up, pale lips and heavy lacy dresses remind me of one of my dear old Dad's favourite sayings "How much do you charge for haunting houses?"
4) Best kiss-off in Strictly history - Ola to Ashley after elimination "Best of luck for the future" (or words to that effect) i.e. we won't be keeping in touch
5) Swingathon girls sashes and boys shirts mostly matched apart from Anya (green sash) and Patrick (blue shirt). Wonder if that's why Patrick stayed so long... they had him mixed up with someone else?!

1. Music choices are still appalling - Material Girl and Smooth Criminal?
2. Marking is still all over the place - no way did Patrick deserve 10
3. I don't mind the Swingathon, but it was too short. Susanna and Kevin were eliminated after about 30seconds. Camerawork was pretty bad too, hardly saw some couples. And the scoring was shocking.
4. Susanna'a AT was terrible.
5. I've been quite disappointed with Artem this year. His choreography for the VW, paso and AS were all very similar - a lot of arm waving and not much else. Natalie should be outstanding, but there is something missing from their routines.

1. Patrick's Rumba seemed more like a Contemporary routine to me, but it was well danced.
2. The music completely destroyed any chance that Susanna & Kevin had of doing a decent AT. Her Ballroom Tango was quite good (back in week 2), so it's not as if she can't do it.
3. Patrick pretty much had to get the lowest votes to be in the dance-off, and Susanna had to be in the top 2. It's awful that Ashley could have been 3rd in the voting, and yet still ended up in the DO.
4. LOVED Abbey's VW. Great choreography from Aljaz and it was so enjoyable to watch.....
5. .... and then we have Natalie. Once again, it was as if she and Artem were 2 people who just happened to be doing the same dance, rather than a partnership. Something is just not working between them and I don't think I've loved any of their dances this series. I quite like Natalie so for me it's probably down to Artem....

1 - Patrick may have been overmarked, but for a guy over 50 he is incredible. I'm in my mid 40s and have been active all my adult life, but the body just won't do the things it used to do easily when I was in my 20s. He got all my votes.

2 - I though Kev's Argie Tango was quite well pitched. Anything more traditional and steamy would have looked distinctly odd involving a man dancing with a woman nearly old enough to be his mother.

3 - Much better without Bruce. Even vintage Champagne eventually turns to vinegar, and Bruce was only ever a decent bottle of Cava at best.

4 - I want to dislike Abbey for being a vaccuous WAG but can't. I find her quite endearing and would like her as a pet to keep Mrs Three Left Feet's pet Kevin company.

5 - I must have mis-read Swingerthon. Very disappointed with what was broadcast!

1. Abbey and Alijaz VW was dance of the night, best of Abbey so far. She looked gorgeous and they have great chemistry together.
2. Actually I didn't mind Susanna and Kevin AT.
3. I always liked Ashley, feel sorry for him because judges/producer didn't treat him fairly throughout the whole competition.
4. I know judges show favoritism, but this is the first time made me to think of stop watching SCD because of the way judges manipulated the scores/leaderboard using Swingathon.
5. I actually liked Len's comments for Natalie and Artem, fair comments imo. Natalie looked gorgeous, awesome music, but let down by Artem's choreography.

Results show:
1. Loved Pasha in the pro dance, what a lift with Aliona! Made my day.

Getting bored with Len. If the others say 'black' he's got to say 'white' just to be controversial.

It's almost as though Len and Craig have swapped roles this series.

Maybe her real name Aleksandra would be easier for Tess to pronounce?

http://www.forvo.com/word/aleksandra/#pl

Though not sure the Polish pronunciation is like "Dollar" according to this - unless it is with an Estuary accent perhaps ...

http://www.forvo.com/word/ola/

I get that reaction when she says "Sawlsir" instead of Salsa with the "sa"s pronounced like the "sar" in sardines;

http://www.forvo.com/search/salsa/

And she pronounces "Rumba" like rum-ber (as in rum and coke and rubber) rather than room-bar (like Flavia did it).

It's called a regional accent. Try getting a Geordie to say. 'Year' like the rest of us do.

Or a sassenach to say 'loch'

I can't differentiate between 'soot' and 'suit', much to the amusement of my family, (I'm a scot.)

And have you heard the cast of Made in Chelsea - may be posh, but my goodness, it's grating...and I only listen to them on the trailers.

3. Patrick did well to finish second in the Swingathon, as he clearly had his shoes on the wrong feet, or could this pathetic time-filler be just a cynical points changer - ooh theres a thought!
4. All this talk about a "dance being lost in a performance". Whatever next - a Salsa to Saturday Night Fever, now that would be shite!
5. The more I see of Claudia Winkelman the more I hate Zoe Ball.”

Natalie danced the tango last Saturday

What about Abbey's footwork? Very little seen for her dress. Could the judges see her feet? I don't remember anyone mentioning her footwork.

James refers to her as "Olla", and whilst he might be a pr*t, we can probably rely on him to pronounce his wife's stage name correctly.

I think Kevin is 31 and Susanna is 43
