To use a hypothetical situation:

Tom - 5 from judges + 1 from public = 6
Dick - 4 + 3 = 7
Harry - 3 + 2 = 5
The Reverend Plantagenet O'Rourke - 2 + 4 = 6
Bob - 1 + 5 = 6

The following almost certainly happened in last year's semi-final, although it's impossible to tell for sure:

Kimberley - 5 + 2 = 7
Denise - 4 + 1 = 5
Dani - 3 + 3 = 6
Louis - 2 + 5 = 7
Lisa - 1 + 4 = 5”

I know this is off topic but I think Kimberley would have beaten Dani, and probably Lisa, in the public vote. I think it would have gone:

Kimberley - 5 + 4 = 9
Denise - 4 + 1 = 5
Dani - 3 + 2 = 5
Louis - 2 + 5 = 7
Lisa - 1 + 3 = 4

Susanna & Kevin - Foxtrot / Rumba / Salsa

So that's another skipping the Argentine Tango. Neither of his dances seem like they'd be huge vote-grabbers, so unless someone else has a complete shocker of a dance, it's probable that we'll be seeing him off this week.

I hope that now means Natalie will be doing the AT

I am not so sure, done well they could be good for them.

But I think Patrick's best dances up to now were the AS and the Charleston, and at least partly what kept him safe after his first appearance in the bottom two.

I hope Natalie does the Argentine Tango. If she does the Foxtrot and Susanna does the Salsa (which she probably will), then they'll be doing exactly the same dances.

Plus I'd like to see how Natalie and Artem react at having to have physical contact during a dance.

Waltz is probably easier points than the AT, though. It'll be interesting to see how they score him, because if they really want to see him in the final they could well chuck a 40 his way.

Waltz is such a deceptive dance and doing it at this late stage he if does not correct that head/frame prob (which was still there last week) it will stand out like a sore thumb

On paper, the Waltz and Paso would actually seem like a good pairing*; they contrast in moods quite well, are both emotive and the Paso tends to have a decent safety rate (if I recall, this topic came up a few weeks back). I don't know about the Waltz as a standalone, since so many have been done in Week 1/2 and it tends not to get done to saturation like the CCC.

* and it is probably better on paper than Smooth/Samba, Susanna's duo whatever they are, and probably Natalie's if she gets the AT/Salsa combo.

But... you're probably right, just because it's Patrick dancing them. It's all on the judges as to whether he survives or not: whether it be by leaderboard propping (would really need to be 1st place without ties to potentially evade dance-off) or dance-off saving.

That one is a trickier call - will the producers really want an all-female final? They'll get a female winner anyway, and probably a 4th place farewell for Patrick, so they may end up wanting him there for variety.

Susanna could top the public vote and still go, if they wanted that... I'm not sure though, it's not so obvious who, if anyone, they're gunning for right now. I see Natalie/Patrick or Patrick/Susanna dance-offs as most likely, but who knows.

I have no idea how they're going to play this but if they want a spread of dances then:

Natalie & Artem - Argentine Tango/Salsa
Susanna & Kevin Foxtrot/Rumba

Or, if they're going for direct contrast as they already have two American Smooths and two Paso Dobles, they'll do

Natalie & Artem - Argentine Tango/Salsa
Susanna & Kevin - Foxtrot/Salsa
OR
Natalie & Artem - Foxtrot/Salsa
Susanna & Kevin - Foxtrot/Rumba

Guess it depends on which conspiracy theory you subscribe to as to who gets what and really I've just probably demonstrated I have no clue at all

I can't remember who normally comes in on a Wednesday. Have you noticed that most celebs and pros come in on the same day each week unless they are eliminated and visit itt on a Monday. Like artem and natalie usually visit itt on a Thursday. But now there is only 5 they can each have a day if the week for themselves on itt. But who is usually there apart from Ian on Wednesday. Can't wait to see some choreography tonight and the chat with natalie and artem.

It's Natalie and Artem on ITT tonight.
Artem will be doing the pro challenge too.

Kim was not in the bottom 2 I am certain her and Louis became top 2 by that week as Kim built up momentum and was doing fantastic.

I wonder how much arm wafting Artem can squeeze into an AT

pretty sure it has to do with where they work, Patrick films in Cardiff I believe, Ashley in Chester/Liverpool and Susanna is in Manchester Tues/Weds I think. They work everyone else around who is available on what days. Ashley even had to do a hello from Chester interview a few weeks back on ITT because he couldn't be in London for his slot.

I'm guessing this is how the judges scores will go this weekend:

Natalie - 5
Abbey - 4
Patrick - 3
Sophie - 2
Susanna - 1

And public vote:

Susanna - 5
Sophie - 4
Abbey - 3
Natalie - 2
Patrick - 1

Which therefore makes it Patrick Vs Susanna or Sophie in the danceoff...

That result would make it definitely Patrick vs. Sophie, since Susanna and Sophie are tied on 6 but Susanna has a better public vote.

whoever goes this week despite what judges think will be decided by the public and how they vote

It depends who ends up in the dance-off.

If either Sophie or Susanna end up in the dance-off against any of Abbey, Natalie or Patrick, then Abbey/Natalie/Patrick will most likely be saved by the judges.

Sophie vs Susanna... Susanna will probably be saved. The dance-off is best dance vs best dance and I can see the judges preferring Susanna's Foxtrot to Sophie's AS.

EDIT: I thought I read that Susanna was doing the Foxtrot but on second glance, I see that's not necessarily the case. Oops

Id be very surprised if we don't get a tied score but with 2 dances I suppose their might be less chance but still happened with the swingathon
