None of the above can come too soon for me. I love the show, I just hate to see it spoiled by naff ideas from faceless "production".

1) Couples to pick their own music from a choice of two songs actually suited to the dance being done.

2) No more than two different dances each week, PREFERABLY ALL doing the same dance in the one week. Too hard for viewers to properly choose between routines otherwise.

3) NO celebrities with more than 1 full year's worth of previous dancing history as it is not fair to those who totally start from scratch.

4) Put the results show back to Saturday nights, as this waiting until Sunday just spins out the suspense way too much (people only "go over to the dark side" for the results anyway)!

5) Ditch the dance-off. It serves no useful purpose, and is too cruel to the contestants and their professional partners - let the viewers decide/speak, and leave it at that!

I would suggest:

1. Retire both Bruce and Anton.
2. Bring back Ian, Matthew, Lilia, Vincent and Flavia as regular competing professionals.
3. Extend ITT to week following final.
4. Clear 2nd/3rd places in final
5. No obvious favouritism by the judges towards certain celebrities.

4) Define what each mark means at season start and stick to it.
5) All chairs in the audience to be wired-up such that anyone clapping out of time or during the musical numbers in the results show are instantly shocked into oblivion....

(And keep the dance-off - it serves a critical purpose)

2. No more faux-funny VTs. Go back to the way it used to be and show us the couples interacting the way they actually interact.

3. Dance for the full 90 seconds. No faffing around for half a minute with some ridiculous prop. Just dance.

4. Get rid of Len. Bring in Karen Hardy.

5. Stop manipulating the public with 'harsh' weeks to get votes for some, 'soft' weeks to get the public to turn on some. Just score them based on how well they dance.

1. Bruce out. Tess and Claudia make a perfectly good presenting team.
2. Get rid of the dance-off - within reason shox are good for the show - AND...
3. ...Bring back the Saturday night results show.
4. Tone down the blates more lenient marking for older contestants BUT...
5. ...Introduce a tie-break system based on age so that, for example, when two couples get the same marks from the judges the older celeb is ranked higher (and so gets an extra point).

Bruce out, Tess and a non camp man presenter - there are actually a lot of straight men viewers who do a roll-eyes at the overt campness at times. Claudia in the pit, where she really excells.
Len out, now a pantomime act, Bruno on notice to drool less over men half his age and comment more on technique.
Cut the theme nights - just naff.
Only appropriate music -style and tempo.
Camera work that shows more full length shots.

In the case of a tie go to public vote to decide, not len.
I know it should be five BUT..... Do not allow dry ice, it completly hides the footwork so how can that be judged properly!

Good question! My 5, in no particular order ;o)

1. Couples dance the same dance each week so that it's easier to see mistakes, compare dancers etc
2. Couples choose their own music
3. Stop with all the props, backing dancers, etc and just focus on the celebs and their dancing
4. Stop all the VT's and have more expert opinions and explanations like Karen Hardy and Ian Waite on ITT
5. Have the results show on a Saturday night so that there is no more blatant lying and treating the public like idiots by saying it was shot on Sunday night

1 The dances. I wouldn't like to watch 14 waltzes on the same night although I agree it would make comparison easier. I think every couple should alternate between ballroom and latin from week to week. Perhaps the first four weeks could contain the same 2 ballroom and Latin dances for each couple so we would see 4 different dances on each show but after 4 weeks each couple would have tackled the same dances. Keep the showy dances, AS, AT and charleston for later in the show. Couples who reach the final to all have danced the same dances to get there.
2. I would like Karen and Ian on the judging panel and a fair system of judging.
3. Natural Clips of couples training without playing to the camera and gimmicky visits to places.
4. Presenters who can present without reading autocue.
5. ITT to be less formulaic and to be on after the final to hear from the winners.

Gosh i agree with so many of these, most of all let the pros/ couples choose the music, if at all possible keep it traditional

And yes, one more itt after the final, whch they did one year!
