Fair judging
The judges look for different things in the dances. The marks given sometimes seem inexplicable. Strictly is an entertainment show, but if there are judges, there should be some rationale to how they vote.
I was wondering what it would be like if each judge was only voting on one aspect of the routine. I am no dancer, others will probably have better suggestions. Could a score be given for difficulty of content (as in diving)? A technical score? A performance score? Judges could just comment on their aspect. It would be clearer why they rated one dance over another. It would be interesting to see whether the pros could choreograph routines to score well in all sections. |

It isn't The Olympics. The producers give the judges their scores and scripts during the rehearsals.
It is a fully scripted panto. Relax and go with the flow. |
