Ain't that the depressing truth about this series

I'm going to put in a vote for Natalie's quickstep with the canes, which was a bit overshadowed by all the back injury porn but was frankly stonking. Plus I don't think we'll get Patrick's quickstep again (it would just be weird not on Hallowe'en night wouldn't it?) and that was my other favourite.

All the jives this series have been fairly crap and it's my favourite dance so would love to see Natalie's jive as well. Specially after watching Artem go in the swingathon, he was much the best bit and I'm not even a massive Artem fan.

In fact, could we just get Susanna to agree that she can have the glitterball as long as she sits on the sidelines and watches Natalie do six dances? #purityofDAHNCE

I would also choose Sophie's charleston but also her foxtrot or VW.

I agree with Lorelei Lee - it would be great to see Natalie and Artem's jive - he was brilliant in the swingathon.

Another vote for Sophies charleston, no dance has been better this series.

If they get to the final, maybe Brendan could recreate the famous dead deer in bacofoil showdance, I'd like to see that again as I didn't believe what I was seeing first time.

It think it was still a bit pared down though. Didn't James just walk on, rather than swinging in on a rope? I'm not sure if I want to see that paso without the flamethrowers and the giant torrent of blood at the end.

For me:

Abbey: Waltz and Tango

Sophie: Charleston and VW

Natalie Rumba and American Smooth.
(Also I'd like to see her Charleston (with different music)…and her Jive.

Patrick: Samba…he's too flat footed in everything else.

Susanna: The AT….. for the LOLs.

I loved that cha cha cha, and not just because it made me laugh, in a good way. I think Mark was a pretty decent dancer.


Brendan and Lisa's show dance….best dance EVER on SCD. I pray that Sophie reaches the final, in the hope that Brendan will re-create something approaching the magnificence of that show dance. I literally cried with laughter watching it, but was in true hysterics reading the Brendan Showdance thread at the time. This clip quotes directly from that thread. Happy Days.

Aww Sophie's alright……anyway you need to save your eyes for the show dance if she gets to the final. I have a feeling Brendan in his doe eyed admiration of Sophie, will be blind/deaf to her
protestations that she will not demean herself in a Snowden stylee….and produce a truly horrific spectacle.

Sophie's tango. It was a great choreography, I want to see it danced perfectly.

I would agree, and I know that seems incredibly harsh to say. I recognise she's a trier but her dancing does near to zilch for me. I like her plenty enough as a person, but I just unfortunately can't put any of her dances in my favourites archive.

Not sure about the others as I have plenty of likes, really likes and really, really likes but not sure yet if I have any loves.

Another vote for Natalie's jive. Another poster suggested that would be unfair but I am not sure why. They could do it as their favourite dance.
