I have Pace DS430N digibox with remote control that has stopped adjusting the sound .
My problem is that the pace digibox is not reacting to the remote control for vol/mute, everything else is working OK from the remote control. The remote control is sending out a signal ie the red light comes on when I press either vol or mute but the digibox does not show a red light for either as though it is not receiving the signal. Have tried resetting the digibox. I have to adjust the sound with the TV remote control.
Any advice most welcome.

Try removing one battery, then hold down select for 60 secs, replace battery and re-enter your code.

You're thinking about this entirely the wrong way - it's nothing whatsoever to do with your digibox.

The remote control can be programmed to work your TV, so presumably it's lost it's programming? - have the batteries gone flat and been replaced?.

If so you need to re-enter the code for your TV, if you post the make and model someone might be able to tell you, or there's a list on the Sky website.

1. Practically new batteries (they read 1.55V on my Avometer 8) in remote control.
2. Have already done software download.
3. Have already set up remote control to operate TV with code.

Very many thanks Deacon1972. I have only just tried what you said with one battery removed, and then reset with the remote control and tv code and the sound vol/mute are now working OK.
