sheesh, I've just ventured onto his twitter, he really needs to wind his neck in a little bit . He is not doing himself or Ola any favours in my opinion, yes, I get that he is passionate about dance and thinks his wife is the best choreographer since the dawn of time but, to me, he is just coming across as a bitter, twisted, arrogant a**e! He even had a pop at Erin last night! He really needs to take a deep breath and calm down

This is their last year on the show. They don't have much to lose.

James and Ola have a lot of fans. And if he didn't think his wife was great he wouldn't be much of a husband, now would he? I think they are pretty good frankly, I've missed him since he hurt his back. He and Ola really do know ow to do a great rumba.

A couple of series ago I started to like James. This warm fuzzy feeling didn't last.

He is coarse, bullish and an oaf. And he is bringing Ola down. Not a pleasant man.

You need to tell us exactly what he said if you want honest comments!

He called Craig a rent boy the other week for saying something (not sure what) about Vincent on I'm A Celeb.

Not sure if he's trying to burn all his professional bridges but surely he must realise the affect it would have on Ola?!?

He brought up Craig's rent boy past in order to support Vincent in the jungle. Go figure!

He also told a tweeter who appeared to jokingly ask why Ola was with James that it was because he had lots of money and a huge c**k and that this guy was a loser.

As I said, boorish and coarse.

i think the comments on the marking are fairly harmless. I doubt if the producers would be too worried.

He wasn't having a pop at Erin - he was just replying to her tweet. The way you worded your post olivej, I thought he had criticized her dancing. I have always liked James, and he isn't afraid to stand up for what he feels is right, whether it is the judges comments on the celebrities abilities or other for other reasons

Disco Salsa >>> Risk Taking Salsa.

Not in my book, either.

Yes, that was it - I couldn't remember the exact context, but it was something similar to "that's rich coming from an ex-rent boy" if I remember?

He does come across VERY badly on Twitter; he made a v.odd comment about Aljaz last week ("needs to be a bit more grounded" I think) while talking about his dance, commented on the Ola/Karen situation when Ola was keeping a dignified silence.

He probably needs a break from Twitter to be honest! Especially given that the people he is commenting on/about still have to work with both him and (more importantly) his wife!

I can't see James and Ola coming back. James used to appear on ITT a lot in previous series after he was voted off, but this years he's only appeared once this Friday just gone. They've also disappeared from the group pro dances as well.

Something has obviously gone on, but I can't say I'll miss them. Ola is alright, but I find James very arrogant.

Well people can get carried away on Twitter, that's a fact. Why sometimes they are almost as bad as posts I've seen on this board.

Agreed. And if you're naturally a fairly straight-talking, don't-care-who-you-offend sort of person like James is then Twitter is never going to go well.

It's also probably very easy to air all the little personal annoyances and grievances when you're not having to face the people day to day anymore (as he is atm, through elimination and injury). Not great when your wife does though!

I'm sure he did another of those 'behind the scenes for ITT' a week or two ago. He injured his back, which is why he's not dancing, but Ola has been in the pro dances. (I do think he should try and be less of a hot-head though).

I don't really do Twitter, but even I'm aware that James sounds off on there, such that even his fans wince a bit and wish he'd rein it in. Fine to have an opinion (we all do, after all), but a little bit of tact and diplomacy would stand him in better stead. After all, it's his career (and his wife's) that will suffer if people who decide which pros to book take offence at him.

Having said that, he's not been in the pro dances recently for the same reason that Robin has been missing - they are both injured and unable to dance.

He and Ola are not doing the tour, nor did they do so last year. But the Strictly tour is done under licence from the BBC and is NOT a BBC production. Craig produced it last year and didn't employ the Jordans, which might explain James' catty tweet about him being an ex-rent boy. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes but, as I said earlier, it's not in his best interests to be quite so public about this kind of thing.

Craig sneered at Vincent doing I'm A Celebrity and said it was low-class. I thought it was pretty fair of James to point out, in defence of a friend, that Craig has done some pretty base things for money too over the years and probably shouldn't be throwing stones. Craig does seem to have delusions of nobility some times.

That said, I find James' aggressive "I'M JUST SAYING IT LIKE IS!" persona kind of hilarious given that according to James HOW IT IS always without fail either benefits him or his wife and is often self-contradictory (see : his attitude to John Sergeant vs his attitude towards Chris Hollins for one)

All of that has not affected him on Strictly though. He is a fine dancer and a very good choreographer. I enjoy James and I really like his 'behind the scenes' little shorts. He seems to have a great sense of humour to go along with the fiery temperament. And at least he doesn't hide his opinion, you know where you stand with him.

After reading the first post I was expecting to read something terrible in James tweets but I can't see anything wrong. He's just supporting his wife, there's nothing wrong with that. He also praised some of the other couples as well.
