My Mum has two dogs both female one is a boxer cross and the other is a greyhound cross both are soppy things,

Recently they got two kittens to replace our cat Harry who died as our cat ratbag was pinning , they were only going to get one but ended up taking the two male kittens

As they are going to be kept in until they are done which will be in march, My mum was going to keep them away from the dogs but the kittens escaped their part of the house and into where the dogs were thankfully they get really well and the cats love jumping on the dogs

The dogs love the two kittens and are acting like mums to them is this a common thing ?

Yes when we had 5 cats they got on with and slept in a big heap with our 3 dogs. I wouldn't leave them together alone mind, because the dogs could get hurt.

Hehe My mum is keeping an eye on them all mainly because the kittens are ' fearless ' and sticking their noses into everything

With my lot it is common. Max and Alfie if kittens cry will go too see what's wrong and will also guard them until we come and see. They will also come and get us too go too the kittens as well
