Oh my, it seems UK vs US vs OZ isn't the only game on tonight that's doing its sixth live show.

Last time on The Solo Factor, we witnessed the first elimination within Team Connor, as Jaymi Hensley was expelled from the competition after losing out to Joelle in the sing-off, a place both of them had been in before.

Tonight, the top six will clash once more over the five places available for the quarterfinal. Yes, one of them is not going to make it, and it's up to the DS public (that's you!) to decide which acts are definitely safe. For the final time this series, the two acts with the fewest votes will square off in the final showdown in order to get the final ticket to the next show from the judges. Anyway, the acts will be singing two songs each for the first time tonight. We'll hear songs from American artists as well as some Floor Fillers you're going to want to put your dancing shoes on for. That's not all, as I've also lined up a great celebrity performer for tonight's show.

It's still a long way to the end of the show though, so let's begin at the beginning and introduce our judges and the top six again:

Team Jess
Ashford Campbell
Veronica Bravo
Vince Kidd

Team Connor
Joelle
Perrie Edwards

Team Pingu's last hope
Lauren Jauregui

Team Jacka which has no competing acts left

Judges, are you all here and ready to kick this thing off again?

All right, I have Connor's comments and vote so let's get this party started shall we?

Up first, singing Extra Ordinary by Lucy Hale, it's everyone's favourite US act Lauren Jauregui!

Lauren
*Standing Ovation*

Oh my god Lauren what a start to the show. Your vocals were just sensational especially your higher range which was extraordinary. I wanted to give you something a bit different this week which was pop with a bit of country and I thought it suited you perfectly. I am so proud of you after that performance young lady and I am just so excited for your upbeat performance because it is even better than this which is very hard to beat!!!

Lauren Jauregui

Lauren, well done on opening tonight’s show! While this wasn’t one of my favourite performances from you, this was a great vocal! It was quite different to some of your previous performances but over the last few weeks I was becoming a little bored with your choices, but I actually quite liked it! I still feel though that again it was quite a safe choice in the grand scheme of things and I would like to see something that will wow me because that hasn’t quite been here yet.

Lauren Jaurequi: *standing ovation*
This was a really good performance, Lauren! Pingu really ‘gets’ you in a way I don’t think anyone else could. He’s been the driving force behind your success in this competition and I think he truly deserves to be commended for that. I look forward to hearing your second song, Lauren.

Aside from some mild criticism from Connor this is a pretty good set of opening comments for Lauren.

Time for a double dose of American songs now:

Ashford Campbell - Menage A Trois by Austin Brown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eyOafpzHOI

Perrie Edwards - California King Bed by Rihanna [cover]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmGCfzMMulU
Note: imagine this in Perrie’s tone and stronger vocal

Perrie Edwards: Everything about this performance was wrong. Not only do I feel that the cover of the song bared no resemblance to your song, I also feel that the song itself was ridiculously predictable. The theme was Made in America – your mentor chose a Rihanna song and technically she is from Barbados which is in the Caribbean and I believe it’s an island of its own rather than one under the US so therefore this is probably a rulebreaker but might not be. #awkward

Ashford Campbell: *standing ovation*
This was great, Ashford! We had a wobble last week and I am glad to see that you are back on form in the best way possible. This song had a real sense of Motown and I can truly imagine this being the sort of song that you’d include on your debut album. Stunning.

Ashford
*Standing Ovation*

Ashford, young man, I just loved that. It was fun, great vocals and you had all the ladies going and wanting to hold your hand as you went fast. Your vocals really were good even though they were a little high for you through most of the song. I ignored that though and I am looking forward to your second performance!!!!

Perrie
First of all Perrie, I am very dissapointed at your mentor picking a cover when this was such a wide open theme. However I really did like the performance though and I thought it suited your vocals to a tea. I loved the power and everything about it. As I said the predictability of a cover was a let down though!!!

Ashford Campbell

Ashford, if I have to be completely honest I wasn’t feeling this song choice. It didn’t really show of your voice much and I felt that was one of your weakest vocals overall and the performance was just quite strange and didn’t particularly do much for me. Luckily you have your second performance later as I think you would have been in trouble based on this song choice alone.

Perrie Edwards

Perrie, I’m extremely proud of you this evening and that was definitely one of your strongest vocal performances overall in the entire competition. You’re an absolute pleasure to mentor and I really feel your becoming the surprise package in the competition after our poor start to the series. You really are a fantastic vocal and I just hope the public get behind you this evening.

Disagree entirely with Connor there but of course, open to his opinion.

Good overall comments for Ashford tonight, but Perrie had a little less luck with the judges it seems. Who will the public be voting for tonight?

Another double dose, why not? Time for some action from the still intact Team Jess again:

Veronica Bravo - Tattooed Heart by Ariana Grande

Vince Kidd - I Should Tell Ya Momma On You by Scott Hoying

Veronica Bravo

Veronica, you’ve had a mixed range of performances throughout the competition with some being very hit and miss but I’m afraid for me this was a miss. I don’t think it really suited you and as a whole, I find the song quite whiny and a bit shouty, screechy and heavily made up of vocal tricks which detracts from your natural voice and while it’s nice sometimes to include vocal tricks, this was just a bit much for me and I don’t think it worked.

Vince Kidd

Vince? I’m really not sure what to say about this performances apart from every five or so seconds I thought you were burping. While I appreciate Jess for taking a risk with you in this performance and going Acapella, I just found myself laughing at all the funny noises you were making and that distracted from the performance. As were getting so close to the final now, I’m going to be brutally honest in saying that was an awful song choice and while I had such high hopes for you at the beginning, they have really faded and for a final six performance, I don’t think it was good enough. It was just really odd. I don’t know whether I’ve missed anything or not, but I really can’t understand the decision to give you this song?

I am fast becoming an Ariana Grande fan, so I am in love with that song choice for Veronica.

Veronica
Veronica I do love a bit of Ariana Grande....but not for you. I think it is very predictable for you as Ariana is quite famous now and I thought the vocals were too high for you through some of the song. I think this is your worst performance and I think you are starting to go too RnB. It wasn`t bad just not up to your usual standard. Good luck on your second song!!!

Vince
Vince I really liked that however those low notes really ruined the performance in my opinion (And that it was a cover) as that is all I could focus on but I tried to ignore that and it suited you really well. Your vocals were really good. Definitely not your best but still good and I am excited for your next performance!!!

Vince Kidd: *standing ovation*
I really wanted to strip things back for you this week and allow you to showcase the range that you are famed for. This was a brilliant performance Vince and I well and truly hope that the public send those votes for you – you are incredible.

Veronica Bravo: *standing ovation*
I loved this performance, Veronica! I was keen for you to deliver a performance that really exposed your voice control and tone and this was well and truly what I was hoping for. We’ve still got your club song coming up next, so I look forward to everyone seeing you for the second time.

What are you even talking about? I understand that it's got to the point where you will slam EVERY act (as you have done so far) in order to make up for some up for your song choices tonight but this comment really takes the biscuit. 'Sounds like burping'? I believe you'll find that is called using your range, something which Vince actually has done in the past.

A mixed response to both acts, can Veronica and Vince bring it back with their next performances or is there a possibility that they might face each other in the sing-off later tonight?

It's time for the last song for the Made In America theme already. Hoping to show everyone why she's still here, it's the gorgeous Joelle singing Hard To Fall by Rozzi Crane!

Joelle
*Standing Ovation*

Joelle well done on...the performance of the evening so far. I thought it was you in some parts and this is your mentors best song choice in the whole competition in my opinion. Well done Conor on a fantastic choice as your vocals were great and I am so impressed. Well done and I cannot wait for your second song!!!
