Leslie got a great introduction and there's immediately more chemistry with her and Gordon than there is with the latter and Barbara.
I agree there is more chemistry between Gordon and Leslie, than between him and Barbara.
Is anyone really surprised? Come on! It's Morena Baccarin! Only one of the sexiest women on the planet!

Has no one seen her in episodes of The Mentalist playing Erica Flynn opposite Patrick Jane? Sizzling HOT!!!

Lucky Gordon is all i can say!!!

Not surprised about Morena, but more about Barbara having little chemistry with Gordon. The actress who plays Barbara is attractive but her acting leaves a lot to be desired and her character is poorly written.

I've always fancied Morena since seeing her in Firefly and Stargate: Atlantis, although it was more Jewel I liked in Firefly, and Torri Higginson in Stargate Atlantis.

Barbara just seems unhinged now. No idea where they're going with her character.

I found Bullock very likeable in this episode. Hopefully they'll continue showing his more humorous side.

Pleasantly surprised with the time Butch got on screen, wondering if they are building him up a bit just to kill him off, or if he is going to become a more prominent character.

Leslie was a breath of fresh air. She seems likely to become a love interest for Jim, I hope they take some time and build up to it.

Yes I think they are better making Bullock a likeable character than the mean one he seemed at the start of the show. The actor is very good in comedy roles, and Gordon needs more of a lighter side kick to balance his somber side.

It would have been good if she had been his love interest from the start instead of Barbara, and then had Barbara introduced in the 2nd or 3rd seasons.

The timeline of this show is all over the place.

There really was no need for the lesbian angle (unless this is part of her back story in the mythos).
Nope.

Montoya, yes. Barbara, no.

She's stunning. I've had a thing for her since Firefly.

Oh and that brief scene with Ivy. Man, is that girl scary or what?
I guessed as soon as Selina called her "Ivy" she would turn out to be "Poison Ivy"

Just to clarify, I've never actually heard of "Ivy Pepper" before.

I'm just going to come out and say it, Barbara is just a ****! Seriously, this must be intentional, her character has no redeeming qualities at all, she even says in the latest episode that she's over Jim, only for her to go crawling back after being dumped by Renee, and then getting angry at Jim at the thought that he has another woman (well played by young Ivy), it's like WHOA let's look back here, who screwed up the case for Jim when he had a plan against Falcone? Who then just up and left Jim? Who then started having an affair? Who then started using narcotics and getting pissed the past few weeks? If they are trying to write in a feel sorry for her angle it's really not working.

Everything else though I am liking, especially Bullock.

Also as Brody's wife in the first two series of Homeland, and Diana in the remake of V, which was possibly her sexiest role, despite being a lizard!

Baccarin has had a lot of interesting TV roles. Leslie should be a recurring character from now on too.

It's a shame she wasn't cast as Barbara.

Don't worry - Nor has anyone else.

In the comics and everything else, Poison Ivy's real name is Pamela Isley, not Ivy Pepper.

Thanks for that.

I thought I'd made a fool of myself for mentioning it and that everyone knew except me.

It's his father we're seeing, not Dick himself.

I don't see it being a massive problem.

Yes I can read.

Just seems too contrived to have the Grayson's in Bruce's life this early on.

It's just his parents and it'll probably be a fleeting thing. This show isn't following any of the comics and will do it's own thing, including bringing in certain characters earlier than expected. It's been doing that from the start.

Yes again I've been watching the show.

And it is why the show isn't as good as it could be. They might as well just name drop for the sake of it.

Jesus Christ, just how many folk from the comics are they trying to fit into Season 1? Will there be anybody left for Season 2?!

I'm starting to wonder if the showrunners even know what the hell they're doing! This show should always have been about Gordan and Gotham. Bruce shouldn't even be a regular cast member as far as i'm concerned.

Totally agree.

It is like they are trying to turn it into a 'Smallville' for Batman.

IMO they've gone wrong, especially with the timeline and Barbara. But also the way they've introduced the proto villains such as Poison Ivy and The Riddler.

They do need to slow down with the intros I agree there but this was always designed as a prequel series though.

I don't understand why they brought it back for a single episode then took it off again?

A college football championship game aired on Monday and the other networks didn't want to compete against it as sports events always dominate the ratings.
