This show has taken a while to really find its feet completely (for me) but it's been fantastic in season two. I really like how they've handled the Joker angle so far and everything else has improved beside that.

Steady now, folks, just think of blue skies and cornfields.

Why are you doing this?

Darling, I got no freaking idea, we've been doing crazy stuff all day long.

Michelle Gomez will be appearing on the show, according to her own Twitter account. Paul Reubens is also playing Oswald's father in an episode soon. He played that role in Batman Returns too.

Another one I really enjoyed. Barnes seems a little too good to be true but his determination to clean up Gotham could be very interesting to watch though. Looks like Gordon's found someone more straight man than him in that regards.

Theo and Tabitha upped the ante with the way the used Oswald's mother to get Oswald to do what they wanted him to do. This can't end well for them later on though.

Butch had some interesting moments in this one too. Could he become a problem for Oswald later on?

This episode did not need Barbara. It just didn't.

Alfred slapping Selina felt a little too callous to me. Silver is definitely a way for Theo to get a hold on Bruce too.

Nygma's date night was pretty brilliant too, 8/10

It was a good episode. I'm waiting to see how Selena reacts to Silver. It should be interesting.

Apart from slapping Selina, I love Alfred. I think it's fairly obvious that Pertwee must give advice to the scriptwriters about what slang words to use, as they are normally dead on, which is unusual for a US TV show depicting a Brit.

I enjoyed the date night, but riddle me this....did the Riddler diddle 'er?

And quite accurately, they way to a teenage boys heart, is through his underpants. Alfred will be wearing gloves to clean Master Bruce's bedsheets for a while.

Another good episode, though its pretty clear that the Commissioner Barnes is going to die.

Alfred smacking Selina, while a shocking moment, was pretty understandable after she murdered his army buddy in cold blood.

I think Nygma is going to kill Miss Kringle, too.

I think Miss Kringle becomes Nygma's girlfriend and partner in crime.

Why doesn't Jim Gordon ever just shoot and save the incessant talking for after? A lot of good cops have died and families ruined for this hot air merchant.

That was a great episode. Firefly is one of my least favourite Batverse villains and what the show did here with Bridget actually made the character a lot more interesting and sympathetic, even without the friendship with Selina. Bridget's 'brothers' can go though.

These mini arcs really do benefit the show and I'm glad we've gotten another one after the Maniax trilogy we had at the start of the season.

Gordon and Barnes strike force though need to up their game, putting it mildly.

Theo's history and vendetta against both Gotham and the Waynes became a lot more interesting though Tabitha is still little more than a cypher. Ron Rifkin showing up as that creepy priest guy is some great casting.

Butch suffered at the hands of Oswald's madness this week, poor guy, 8/10

Although Firefly's brothers were gits, I always enjoy The Wire actors getting work.

Good episode all round. No Bruce whatsoever.

Reading some of the comments here i'm so excited for season 2 of Gotham when it returns to Ch5, shame it won't be until early next year. The wait is killing me!

It's not exactly difficult to find online and a media player compatible with almost every type of TV sold in the UK cost me less than £25 delivered.

Good episode. The reveal of Bridgit surviving her burning was a nice one, along with the Indian Hill reminder. I had actually forgotten about that place.

I liked Selina wanting to help out Bridgit in this episode even though she became disillusioned by Gordon by the end of this one.

They're setting up a future conflict with Gordon/Barnes pretty nicely too. Loved Bullock and Ivy's brief scene as well.

They need to give Tabitha something other than beating men up and making snide comments especially given that Theo has been better characterised by comparison.

It really doesn't pay to be Butch, does it?

Silver's clearly a willing pawn with the Galavans campaign against Bruce or she feels like she's in on it.

Nygma killing Kringle is something I wish they hadn't done, 8/10

I'd forgot about Indian Hill but now remember there being a big hoo hah with Marone and Falcone over it...Didn't Penguin suggest it or something? What I don't get though is how WE plays into it if it is a Falcone/Penguin thing.

I'd love to see a returning Fish form an unholy alliance with Penguin to see off Galavan.

The latter is what I'm hoping for. The pre-Joker Joker was so good, it would be a big mistake to kill him off permanently. I'd much rather see a completely mental version of him (same actor of course) turn up in Arkam and mess with things there, eventually getting out as Wayne first becomes Batman.

And probably where a proto-Bane and Killer Croc will come from.
