What a load of trot! They have got rid of the best male dancer to ensure that either Natalie or Abby wins. Switched off in disgust. And I actually love Patrick but that was totally unfair. He was leading with heels, in Rumba!!!

From Patrick's clapping, I think that he agreed with you.

Am I missing something here? Sophie, bless her, cannot dance to anything like the same level of any of the others still in the competition.

Her Charleston was fab, but since then it's been a case of the emperor's new clothes, with Brendan continually telling us how good a dancer she is. She may be a lovely woman, but a good dancer she is not.

Her mannequin routine said it all, Brendan pushes and pulls her into position and because she's tall and lithe, the poses look good. The inbetween "dancing" is almost non-existent.

I have to agree with you! I thought her tango was awful he was almost dragging her around

It always makes me laugh when people say this.

You switched off when the programme finished like the rest of us. You can add all the fancy adjectives you like but you still just turned the channel over.

Patrick has been the best male dancer from the start, so if that was their plan, it would be him they would be getting rid of. Also Ashley has been in the dance off two weeks running, so I don't think he was particularly likely to win.

I was so disgusted with the judges after the dance off (apart from Len). Only Ashley & Ola got the standing ovation in the dance off while Patrick & Anya got a few polite embarrassed handclaps. Half way through the routine Patrick just seemed to stop and then walked the rest of the routine with a face like thunder.

It was shocking what Craig said afterwards. I didn't turn the tv off in disgust instead I sent Craig, Darcey and Bruno Tiffany boxes. I was inspired by something Sharon Osbourne said in the Grahame Norton show.

Loads of people, me included, enjoy watching Sophie dance. Some people will just have to deal with it.

I agree with you Soulwomen, Len was right... Ashley should have stayed.

I like Abby and Sophie but I think the judges want Miss Natalie to win

Ridiculous he was the best male celeb but the judges obviously want either Patrick, Abbey or Natalie to win so I am now rooting for underrated Sophie.

You state your opinion like it is a fact. I personally think is she is a talented dancer, I'm hoping she wins.

Well I agree with her. Sophie's tango was terrible, her VW was sickly sweet and her rumba could have been used to make ice. A great dancer she is not and Brendan sure can do choreography for a chair. The chair did the AT better than Sophie. She may be a lovely lady, but not a lovely dancer.

I must have missed something with this show tonight though, weren't Patrick and Ashley in the bottom 2 because the public didn't vote for them?

Dead right ! ...... In fact Sophie looks half dead in all her dances except for the Charleston...... I think that many people are forgetting how much harder it is for male celebrities versus female, since male pros, can pull reasonable lady competitors through their routines, and this is what Brendan is doing with Sophie I'm afraid......

Sorry, but Abbey is quite clearly the judges choice to win. Tall & Leggy = perfect ballroom dancer = Len's delight.

Never has ignorance been more apparent. Patrick's rumba was very poor. Yes, it was intense, but there is more to rumba than just looking desperately into a partner's face. He did no real rumba steps, when he did move he just walked flat footed, and - as Len so rightly pointed out - he kept doing heel leads. "Rumba is Latin, Patrick, not ballroom".

Ashley's salsa was far superior. Not perfect by any means, but it was fast, lively and fun. Yes, he missed the last lift, but - again as Len said - if we hadn't seen the main show, we wouldn't have known there should have been a lift.

He was robbed by the ignorance of 3 judges who do not understand what they are supposed to be looking at. Shame on the 3 of them. Double shame for Darcey who gave Patrick a 10 in the main show.

Yep, more of the public voted for them because more of the public wishes to see them next week.

Must grate.

”

Did he make this same mistake in the first performance of the rumba? Genuine query, because I know nowt about rumba technique. What I'm wondering is why, if Len was so incensed by heel leads in a rumba, how come he didn't mention this first time around? Or did Patrick do it correctly first time and got it wrong in the dance off?

Thank you for this. I like Patrick, but I don't understand why people keep saying he is the best male dancer. Yes, he can sell a dance with his acting skills and he has natural rhythm, but apart from his Charleston which was fantastic, I haven't thought any of his dances have been that great.

I think there is a bit of 'the emperor's new clothes' going on with Patrick.

He always seems very flat footed to me. However I do feel for the bloke a bit, must be horrible to realise you are that unpopular.

Agreed. Despite my adoration of Brendan, I will admit that Sophie is not the best dancer in the competition. However, she is mesmerising to watch and as a couple they have star quality and that's what I look for. Natalie is streets ahead but she and Artem don't gel. Susanna is a clump smileaggedon - lovely but lacking charisma. Abbey is all enthusiasm, ditto Ashley, but not much else. Brendan and Sophie make me want to watch and I don't really care how they do it.

Not really. When I look at a clock I want to know the time, not assess the inner workings and award marks accordingly. Sophie and Brendan are good to watch. That's it.
