They didn't really need to be told though did they? She was the worst dancer last night so couldn't complain re bottom placing. The real issue was to do with the marking of others/the appalling music etc. But I don't buy a conspiracy here. She's plainly getting the votes (or KFG is) without any help from the judges.

Alesha and Jill were 29 and Kara was 27. Natasha's closer to their age than Susanna's. She also wasn't a working mother, which I imagine plays into the perception of Susanna somewhat.

Yes on the "no prior experience" tag though.

Also wasn't everyone agog at romance rumours with Brenda? I wasn't on DS those days but presumably it was as thrilling as Kartem!

So moving forward, if the vote stays the same, we know Patrick is the least popular, Susanna is the favourite or second favourite, and nothing really about Abbey, Natalie or Sophie (but would assume that Sophie is popular too).

It looks like there are three tiers:
Susanna and Sophie in first and second in either order
Abbey and Natalie in third and fourth in either order
Patrick last.”

Both of these are speculation. For all we know Natalie is topping the vote, not likely I'll grant you, but she's not been low enough on the leaderboard to test her popularity.

From what we know, public vote could be

Natalie
Susanna
Sophie
Abbey
Patrick

It could just as easily be
Susanna
Sophie
Abbey
Natalie
Patrick

Only Patrick and Abbey have been bottom 2, so we still don't know much about most of them bar Susanna.

Oh God yes, Natasha breaking up the happy Brenda/Camilla home. Terribly terribly sad. And romantic. (lolbarf).

I have to admit, two female winners further apart in temperament I couldn't imagine. Kerplunk could never shut up about how she was hating every second, then sort of begrudgingly had a journey towards the end for probity's sake. Susanna's eaten the whole thing up like double chocolate fudge cake since second 1.

Can I just point out that Susannah the working mother works 2 days a week and has 3 children of school age.

Sophie also a mother of 3 is promoting her album supporting her husbands band ( ie working ) and her youngest is under 2 ( it is to her credit that she has not pushed this )

Abbeys " my babeee" is 3 I think

Ashley obviously won on baby wars with his newborn,

But for working mum status I think Sophie should win hands down but isn't.

Not sure why as a 34 year old she has not the working mum vote down pat.

Because they haven't been paraded in front of the cameras. For her to get this far in without it happening, I would imagine she's asked for that to be the case. (Although I have seen her on tv with them before).

Because both Sophie and her husband can pick up and drop their work as they wish, I would guess.

Because & this is by no means a criticism she has so far chosen not to have her children involved/filmed/mentioned. So many people may not realise she is a mother.

Yeah, right, record companies love that!

I don think her record label would allow that, although she may have been given special dispensation. But I doubt that.

Indeed her son features on the Feelings video latest single.

It rankles that Susannah is getting the how marvelous a working mother of 3 praise where Sophie should also be getting it , even if she has chosen not to go down that road. I applaud her for it , and would probably make the same choice myself.

It just seems that Susannah is getting undue praise for doing something difficult when a competitor is doing something arguably more difficult but not getting any praise for,it .

However I think that I would rather be like Sophie and keep some distance between her much loved family and the show

I could see that appearing on Striclty was an arranged tie-in with the record company for record promo.
She hasn't had an album released since 2011 which is an age in music terms.

I heard she was in Berlin doing a gig with the Feeling and also went to Kiev

I don't think she has been allowed to drop out of obligations , I know she has a new album out shortly( probably why she did Stricktly ) so imagine she is busy with all that.

She has chosen not to promote all this on Strictly which is admirable but it does get my goat when Suzannah is praised for doing things that others do quietly with no fuss .

No she is not big over here anymore but is in Europe and Russia where she is a big name.

It's interesting Susannah's quite low - roughly where I thought she'd be. I think she was saved this week because voters knew she desperately needed votes to stay in, and I'm sure many ladies are (unaccountably) voting for Kevin.

I would have thought that Abbey would be higher, but I guess the combination of her looks, WAG status, and Aljaz's extreme gorgeousness means that many people won't identify with them.

Yep. I mentioned in my post which bits were fact and which were speculation. I know what all the possible permutations were (there's 26 in total), and that the possible ranking points for the couples were:

Natalie - 2 3 4 5 6
Patrick - 1 2
Abbey - 2 3 4 5 6
Sophie - 3 4 5 6
Ashley - 1 2 3 4
Susanna - 5 6

I was just using the markers that we have (Susanna top 2, Patrick last), to speculate on where the other couples placed. Of the three remaining, Sophie seems to be the most popular across a variety of media polls, so I placed her top 2 and can't split Natalie and Abbey for 3rd and 4th. But as you say, Natalie could of course be first in the public vote. I just think that it's extremely unlikely that she holds that position. Same for Abbey.

Yeah, that's how it works with musicians??? Weird comment, certainly for a woman (we men can at least be seen as sexist blablabla if we say something like that).

Lets be honest Sophie's best days are behind her career wise. Her work schedule is not exactly demanding with just one off promotional events at most.
