Do you believe this when they announce who is through? I always think it seems to be plausible for the order they are actually announced. Tonight was Sophie, Abbey, Susanna, Natalie.

I would agree with the order they are announced most weeks in terms of leaderboard score and perceived popularity. I think it is actually done in order.

We'll probably never know, I always think they do an order which creates suspense rather than anything real.

Oh yeah, in no particular order actually means, in the order most likely to make people gasp, swear, throw cushions at the tv, do whatever you do during moments of artificial drama.

The order appears more designed to cause dramatic tension. I doubt it reflects scores. Susanna either topped or came 2nd in public vote to escape the dance off so leaving her until 2nd half but then announcing her before Natalie was entirely for effect. And leaving Natalie to last was just to try and provide some truth to Len's ridiculous statement about her being in danger...

it can. On other shows though. it can reflect a pattern. The patterns are suggested by the same names turning up next to each other repeatedly in some logical order. You sometimes have the one's staying in orders like 123456 or 345126 or 321456 and often put the two who are genuinely lowest into the final line up. Some shows do this most weeks and then throw a frontrunner into the final two left standing for shock effect. The pattern, if there is one, can be the voting order or the combined order. That may be intentional, or just the result of randomising in a few particular ways. Different ways provide particular effects.

Once we know where some people are in the vote from extrapolating the results, speculation becomes a bit more possible. I wouldn't bet on the answer though. Tonights order fitted what we know of the voting order in several ways. Susanna being next to Natalie and called before Natalie may tell us where she is in the vote (the alternatives are one or two) and where Natalie is, or not.

I think that 'in no particular order' means exactly that.

On the spoiler thread a report from someone who was there said Susanna was announced first in the studio. So even the TV order is not the order in the studio necessarily, let alone anything else.

That is the one thing it isn't. The "particular order" is the one fixed by highly professional television producers to maximise suspense, irritation and news column inches. Nothing at all is left to chance.

The partnerships are not random but assigned given what they see as enhancing ratings.
The dance order for each partnership from week to week is not random.
The dance order each week across partnerships is not random.
The dodgy / good music assigned is not random.
the silly comedy costumes are not assigned to everyone.
The judges scores and scripts are pre-written by the producers during rehearsals.

It is a panto and not the Olympics.

Relax and go with the flow and not take it seriously.

Wow, if true that just shows the lengths those producers will go too just to create tension, controversy, headlines .

I think the spoiler giver just remembered it wrong. It's very difficult to remember it all & it's not all filmed at the same time. When Susanna was called there were DEFINATELY only 3 of them left on the stage so it wasn't filmed differently. They don't 'retake' any of that part
