Susanna won this show in Blackpool...

...on that infamous night with that infamous Paso. She is sweeping up in the public vote. Most well received Strictly dance ever?

Or maybe Sophie won it after that Charleston?

Still my dance of the series

Wishful thinking i'm afraid. The cheers that Susanna gets says it all. Their partnership plays straight to the middle England family audience.

Yeah, it's partly the Paso and I think the way Brucie how built up "Kevin From Grimsby" has done a lot for them as well.

Perhaps "Kevin From Grimsby" will be Brucie's protege?

I think you're right. And the reaction to them being saved tonight was massive, so much clapping and screaming.

They wear pringle jumpers, argyle socks and say "pass the after eights, dear".
A family crisis is when their garage can't hold the MG and their collection of travel literature at the same time.
They just go wild for Susanna. I can see them, waving their monogrammed handkerchiefs in the air.

It seems that the worse they dance the more support they get so anything is possible by that logic.

I think they mean me. I live in Birmingham that's in the middle of England

Probably but Sophie still has her week 2 Charleston though .

Susanna was favourite to win not so long ago, and now she's fourth ahead of only Patrick on Oddschecker. If she doesn't seriously improve from her last three total messes she'll be in trouble.

I like her, but apart from the Paso she hasn't wowed me. The Argentine Tango is often a wow-factor dance, but hers wasn't one, and yet when I watched it back with the song muted, I preferred it far more. The music spoilt it, as did the bit where the flow was interrupted whilst Kevin got into position to do the leaning stunt. I'm guessing from the training vids that was where he was originally supposed to be Moonwalking but it didn't work out.

But when she does a good dance, which we all know she's capable off, It just works more so than any of the other couples.

It's called the wow factor, darlin'.

The show is also shown in Scotland.

Actually, thinking about it, Susanna clearly came in the top two in the public vote, and that was with a pretty ropey AT dance, so maybe with a crowd-pleasing dance in the final, she could win it.

It's obvious that she's topping the public vote. I think Natalie and Sophie are probably quite popular as well because neither have been in the dance off yet, but looking it at as it is I wouldn't be surprised if Susanna ended up winning. Patrick and Abbey don't have a hope in hell, though I'd like to be proved wrong about Abbey.

She's clearly ranking quite highly in the public vote. I loved her paso in Blackpool but she's seriously slipped/not progressed as the others have in recent weeks. I think she'll definitely be in the final though.

And to folk not in middle England geographically or socially and for whom the term "family" is nothing but a contentious social construct. But will like a bit of The Reidinator.

Her fan base is strong enough to keep her out of the dance off. Next week will be very interesting, I think it could be Sophie and Abbey or Natalie in the dance off but if there with Patrick will both be ok.

Susanna also danced a beautiful wonderful waltz. Remember the pivots in a full circle?
