One of the extra dancers from Blackpool seems to have made it his way into the pro dances at the start of the results show. Is he replacing James while he's injured? Who is he?

There were two new guys tonight alongside Anton and Pasha, one of them was a guy called Shem Jacobs, who was in the ill-fated Dance Troupe of series 8 alongside Darren Bennett and Ian Waite. The other one is unfamiliar to me, it's a shame they're not even mentioned! Although, that said, Kevin was said anonymous dancer in a couple of dances last year, so they may pop up again in a later series!
the other guy is Paul or robert Kirkland who arrived back from USA last week after dancing on DWTS in the troupe he and Sharna Burgess dannced on show tonight (she is from the DWTS troupe as well though both british)

DID SHE?!?!?!?!?!? (I'll have to check but I thought the 5 female dancers were Aliona, Ola, Kristina, Janette and Karen...)
She might have choreographed, I know Lacey Schwimmer has done stuff for SCD but never on stage, might be the same, especially since Sharna was the first eliminated Pro on DWTS, she might have popped over here earlier in the year.
Also, Sharna is Australian, not British! (She gave her partner on DWTS this season a kicking for saying she sounding English!)

I noticed Sharna Burgess' name in the credits too -for "additional choreography". Wonder if she may be a possible addition to the pro ranks for 2014?

Just watched again- I don't think she was (I made a mistake, it was Iveta not Ola in the opening number) but beyond that it was only new male pros- and it was only guys backing dancing to the Saturdays.
Judging by Sharna's twitter feed, she choreographed with Paul Kirkland the routine- and is appearing on the show NEXT week!

I would assume from Paul's tweet he was the 4th male dancer alongside Shem, Anton and Pasha, but Sharna's being very confusing XD x
The other guy is the one who has been dancing in the show for a few weeks now and also from Burn thr floor just trying to find the tweets and article about him. I wish they would give them a name check too.

Ah yes, my other post didn't load for some reason, Patrick Helm, he's been dancing in the show for a few weeks now hasn't he and doing a fantastic job. He looks full of energy!

Yes I like Patrick - one of our ex pupils did Blackpool with Patrick but has now flown out to Aus I think for Burn The Floor after crimbo

Thank you for saying that. I was sure it was Patrick, though to be honest I wasn't watching that closely (too busy chatting with couple of friends!) I knew Patrick was one of the 'new' Strictly dancers. He's a great guy, and an excellent teacher.

Patrick Helm - he has been doing choreography and "filling in" for injured main pros for a while now - he also dances with Brendan in his Licence To Thril tour

BIB she did, her and Paul Kirkland choreographed last nights pro dance - Im pretty sure her and Paul werent dancing tho....

Robin said on ITT that he was laid up with a bad back so I guess he had to be replaced as well as James.
