Just spotted this via a news site

It appears that those people who have entered the Kit kat competition and have won have been fobbed off with the old version of the Nexus 7 tablet. It may be better than no prize at all, but at best its a little miss leading.

the pictures on the packs and the site have the 4.4 wallpaper, but the status bar is in blue.

not sure why i assumed it was the 2013 nexus 7. i guess i just did.

very sly though. i mean if you entered a competition to win a vw golf run by vw you might reasonably assume, in the absence of any other information, it was a current model.
