Having had problems with my equipment I have now a good service from the Roberts having complied with an engineer,s instructions and ignored the handbook!
But I seem to be a candidate for, to me, unusual problems.
I was listening to the machine a week or so ago, everything was as it should be.
When I came back I switched on and it appeared to go through the usual connection stuff i.e. going to the station I wanted etc. but no sound (volume up).
Checked connections, not many of course, a couple of leads.
Strangely sound was available through my hi-fi. I could listen to CDs and so on but internet sound not at all. The connection was good for my laptop etc.
I have unplugged it (the radio) from power, in fact done everything I can dream up to prompt a return of service.
I have been trying for several days to contact Roberts.... no joy! No answer...
On Sunday morning I had turned it on, no change, but I sort of hoped something might occur. Then the set spluttered and after a couple of try's decided to work; and it has done since.
Am I the only one with a problem like this? Would appreciate comment.
