Does anyone know what Ashley was referring to when he was talking to Zoe about the swingathon? He said his remarks had been edited out last week and I am very curious!!!

We have no idea sorry

I'd love to know too, just out of curiosity (aka complete nosiness).

I felt he had a bit of a rough deal on Saturday - his massive Salsa, then the Swingathon, then that Salsa again. It's no wonder he didn't make that last lift. Just as an aside, I actually said "Wow" when he jumped on Ola's head.

Maybe it was just a bit of swearing whilst describing the Swingathon training. Given that Zoe had to apologise when Ben Cohen said "Jesus" on air, it wouldn't surprise me.

I'd be swearing like a Navvy every other sentence in training- just one of the many reasons I'd never want (or be asked) to take part.

TBH all that jump made me think was 'Ewwwww! Her face is in his crotch!!!'

I think he didn't agree with the format and how its judged.
Don't blame him, its a bit rubbish to be honest.
Certainly from a viewer's point of view anyway.

He's such a wickedly funny guy Ashley, I'm sure he was great fun to work with, but Ola always came across very very business-like...much more than normal?
Methinks she doth protest too much.

From what little he said last night, and the context in which the comment was made, that was my thought as well.

Yep, a confusing mess on-screen, not helped one bit by the swirling cameras. The producers really need to have a good think about that.

Celebs are always so thrilled with every aspect of the show it makes me wonder if they sign the same sort of contract as they allegedly do with I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of here, where part of the deal is that they aren't allowed to say anything negative about the programme.

I would love to know as it definitely seemed like he didn't agree with something about it.

It was a total mess and badly planned.

The only thing I have enjoyed about it is watching Kevin joke about it in the Ashley's left clip online!

Ashley is wickedly funny, he has really made me smile with his great sense of humour.

To be honest, it seems to me that the BBC don't like any celebrity voicing opinions that are contrary to the "party" line. This is why they are all briefed to continue the pretence that the results show isn't actually on the Saturday.

So, if Ashley had views on the swingathon that were critical of it, they were bound to edited out. He also indicated that he had been warned to be careful in what he was to say on ITT.

Interestingly Len's vote on the expulsion has been carefully edited out of every replay of the vote that I have seen. Despite Zoe Ball's hyperbole, nothing much in the way controversy ever makes it on to ITT.

I always thought ITT was live?
I mean the apology when Ben said a swear word for instance?

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Somewhere at the back of my I think I've heard that the Tuesdays shows are pre-recorded. Might have just dreamt that up.

Think the trick is to listen to Alan Deadicott's intro. I think it's like the Sunday show he's doesn't say live when it's pre-recorded. Of course I might be wrong about this as well.

i can never tell! i like it's moments of slight chaos sometimes though.

i reckon if ashley made some comment about the swingathon before the weekend it was probably just something light hearted, not a serious criticism of its scoring system or anything like that.

Maybe (more likely) because Len's vote (and ensuing comment) had no bearing upon the result. Ashley was already out.

I know some bits are pre-recorded, Aliona has tweeted that her and Tony were going into ITT for a pre-recorded interview

I always assumed it was live - monday night, Alan Dedicott said "live from the BBC" but I must admit I dont always listen to that bit I will do from now on!

I always thought it was live too, someone earlier this series said somewhere the Mondays are live and they record the Tuesdays then and the same with one of the other days, I'm not sure, as I haven't picked up on it but the tip was, as above, that Alan Dedicoat's link is the way to tell!
