I did not recognise who that was on the picture at first perhaps it is an old picture if that is Lucy she looks good.

Weird. I take it that is Joey and Amy in the small picture. But the big one looks as if they took that day's model and told her to dress up as Lucy. As it's the Star I expect it is all made up anyway. They seem to have a budget of a penny a year for exclusives, so they rely on inventing things about people they know don't have the clout to sue.

After this year of favouritism & creative editing they may struggle to get any credible celebs to sign next year. Especially If they think there is any possibility of them getting the same harsh treatment. After all they go in to the jungle to promote themselves not have their personality trashed or put their career in jeopardy.

Everyone has their own opinions on the matter but all those involved have been tarnished by this mess as some folk believe everything they see on TV.

It must have been so hard for all of their family's & friends to watch

On reflection you could be correct about the picture.

Good point word will get around that it may not be worth it and then they will end up with a lot of 2nd rate celebs desperate for the money.

Yes I agree. I was glad when it was over this year because I didnt enjoy it like I have in the past. The editing was dire, the trials seemed a bit boring and we really didn't see any fun. I wonder if its had its day now because you cant believe anything you see.

Im sure The Star story isnt all that it seems but its interesting that its stars pural otherwise I would have thought it was just Matthew who had said this when he got out.

I agree with those saying that they didn't really enjoy this year's show very much, but ratings wise it's the second highest rated I'm a Celeb series of the 13 aired so far (I have no idea why this is given it was a lacklustre year to say the least) and the launch show got massive figures, so I highly doubt it has had its day just yet. ITV would be killing a real cash cow if they axed it!

Thats interesting. I might buy the paper tomorrow. If there is any substance in the story, it could damage the reputation of the programme. Im not holding my breath though.

The way I feel at the moment, I shall give it a miss next year.

It looks quite a bit like some pictures of Lucy. For instance:

I've only watched it this year. It wasn't great and I won't bother next year.

I do feel a bit sad that I missed out on some of the early ones though, people seem to have loved them.

The editing story on Lucy is awful hands unacceptable. It was never that bad in previous series. They should be investigated for that.

Yes, so it does. What an odd article though. She's had 'a particularly interesting love life' because she's been engaged for 8 years and has a daughter? I'm practically Belle de Jour.

Both good articles and spot on about this year's farce of a show.

Yes, good assessment from IanH. He's particularly spot on about the knock-on effect this shambles of a show had on Ant & Dec this year. Like most people who watch the show, they're as much the draw as the contestants and this is the first year where I've found them at times almost as tedious and limp as the highlights and the contrived 'storyline'. They deserve better material to work with and I hope they have enough influence, as a key and fundamental part of the show's attraction, to impact on how IAC proceeds from here.

This would be all the strictly fans tuning in just to see Vincent... I don't normally watch I'm a celebrity, and won't bother next year so if all the extra viewers are like me... this was the swansong!!!
