The whole thing looks fake, it may not be, but it comes across as bogus. OK they get hungry but the rest of it, the camp, dunny etc is just unconvincing.
How can it take a crew of how many hundreds to produce such a banal show?

They should take over an army training ground in the UK, give them "tasks for food" to perform, forget pouring cockroaches over them or making them eat camels eyes, it is so yesterday, darling.

Just give them a hard time and let us WATCH ALL OF IT.

Nuff said.
