Sneaky David got away with murder in that camp
Dub2
10-12-2013
He was the most vocal in portraying Amy as a victim of female bullying. Without his bitchy anti-female gossiping the entire indecent may have passed without comment.

But then to make matters worse, he changes sides, and starts agreeing with those who were bitching about Amy in the first place.

The guy has got away with murder, yet has managed to completely avoid any criticism at all.

Thank God this fake gossiping jungle bitch never managed to pick up the King of the Jungle title.

Because it really wouldn`t have been deserved.

I think you exaggerate to call it 'murder'. He was momentarily struck by the fact that Amy didn't seem to be part of the happy, chatting group in the middle of the camp, and thought they might be excluding her. Later he was irritated by new facets of Amy's behaviour and less inclined to blame other people.

That seems...ordinary...

Ah so it's all David's fault now!

Really? No we're going to smear David as the latest attempt to paint Amy as a victim? *SMH*

That's how I saw it too, the men generally felt sorry for her at first but when they found out exactly what she was like found they couldn't blame the women for their attitudes. Attitudes BTW that were actually quite mild when you think of some past contestants she could have met in there.

What / who do you mean by indecent ?

Though a good way to maintain your position as an unbiased mediator between two opposing sides is to look at them both objectively and even be critical of them. As a way of understanding and accepting both sides to the story, even if you don't fully believe it yourself.

I try to apply that to myself on here, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. lol

I think the men in general got away with a lot this year. They sulked, they bitched, they stirred and they moaned to and about Amy. But hardly a peep on here.

I think he correctly assessed the situation, the women were jealous and excluding Amy.

Amy was also lazy and some what self absorbed so he commented on that also. But it doesn't make his initial perception incorrect nor does it mean 'he changed his mind'

Amy being selfish and the women being jealous are not mutually exclusive.
They can both be correct at the same time..!

True, they did. Shame it's too late to take them to task.

I found David's hair suspiciously buoyant all the way through. I bet he had a stash of product to keep it so dazzling and eye-catching and subliminally used it to affect the voting.

Yes, Al moaned and bitched repeatedly about Matthew but there were no 'he's SUCH a bitch' 'he's a jealous old HAG' threads about them.

funny that.......

The English language is quite depressing. Whatever would the male equivalent to a 'hag' be? Or a 'witch'? We don't insult men by calling them wizards or warlocks, do we? Perhaps we could popularize 'Hefner' as the male equivalent to 'hag'. "He's just a jealous old Hefner."

Do you mean Heifer

You can insult a man by calling him a girl or an old woman though

Ah. Doesn't that say it all?

Exactly!

On the OP's topic, I can't honestly think how any blame can be laid on David. He, like all the men, championed her because she's so attractive and then found out how selfish and duplicitous she really was. I've often been fooled at first by charming or attractive people only to find out how unpleasant they can really be. No crime to change one's mind about a person!

You have no reason to think that, other than wanting to. Not nice.

Yes who ever you supported or who ever you wanted to win the sad fact is that Amy was excluded from certain groups right from the start and there was nastiness and talking behind her back.
The contraband issues came later (and who cares anyway, no one lost meals and it is done every single year, including David this year)

Amy should of told them what David said. Poor Al did nothing wrong but got blamed by Lucy because of what Amy told her. I'm just baffled as to why Al wasn't more angry with Amy about telling lies about him.
