Ian Hyland is right IAC need bigger personalities

They were a dull lot in general. Bring back the likes of David Guest
who was robbed through a vote counting balls up and had that other boy band member win, if you remember

I don't remember? Was it not a public vote that day?

I liked David Gest, and found him amusing, but I don't see him as a huge personality. If anything, he was a bit like David, with a mild romance thrown in.

I actually thought this year's lot were fine. The problem seemed to be, from the producer's point of view, that none of them were up for rows and that all of them worked fearlessly at the trials, so they had no melt-downs and tantrums to offer us. That doesn't prove they were 'a dull lot', though of course a couple of them were imo. I can't remember anyone on IAC making me laugh as consistently as Vincent, for a start.

I think they will find it difficult to get any one decent to do it after this year. Celebrities arent going to put their career at risk because of bad editing.

I thought this years lot all contributed quite well across the board pretty evenly without there being any outrageous characters...well maybe matthew was a bigger character.

where most years 3/4 people get all the air time and the others r barely noticeable

I disagree - this series has largely been taken up with Amy and Lucy. I was so yawned-off with this storm in a 'D' cup that I was longing for the earlier Joey coverage!

I agree with you. I got to the stage when I dreaded watching the show and the spin off as it was the same old rubbish. I was relieved when it was over but I was glad Kian won.

I may not bother next year especially if there is a young couple who the producers want us to believe are going to hook up in there. Seen it and got the t shirt. Its an insult to our intelligence.

Yes, I agree. David Gest was a brilliant signing. I can't believe he didn't win. Who did win that year?

I think the cast this year overall were all more noticeable than years gone by. yes lucy, joey, amy, matthew got more air time in parts but alfonso, david , kian, Rebecca, steve all contributed as well, you were more aware of all the campmates this series

I thought they were a bunch of good and strong personalities in the main.

We just didn't see enough of them, and too much of Joey, and then the Amy saga.

It was a bit of a waste. But the campers were fine on the whole.

They were a poor selection of celebs, that's why we had to suffer three weeks of the "Amy is being bullied" storyline. Nothing else happened.

You must be kidding . He was the bigest personality in there that year and kept them all entertained with his tall stories. I don't remember any mild romance, unless you're talking about his bromance with Jason Donovan. Jan Leeming may have had a little crush on him and Toby Anstis(and any other male within a few yards) Who could forget her rendition of Happy Talk and Summertime Those were the days when they had some really good celebrities.

I wonder what Lucy would have made of David Gest since he never did a thing round the camp, he was so used to being waited on outside.

This years lot were pretty dull - when you think the funniest moment was Steve Davis falling in the water.
